Basically you can plug it into your TV's HDMI socket, connect it to your WIFI and stream media content from your laptop, tablet, phone etc. At the price, $35, it's a cheap solution for playing stuff off your drives or paid for content you've downloaded from Play or iTunes but as most TVs today come with Internet connection, or failing that DVRs like TiVo, they are over-selling the facility to play Netflix or YouTube. I'd buy one even though I've several ways to play media on my TV off my laptop and tablets already because I like gadgets. :D 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
