Akron162
Until now, Pawn Hearts was the only Van der Graaf Generator album i had listened. I didn't liked it at all, too disorganized musically. Godbluff is a lot, a lot better. I really enjoyed it, but God, how i hate Peter Hammill's voice. Either he over signs, or he has no range at all. I was about to shout: "Shut up!" more than once. That's all.

ColdFireYYZ
Pawn Hearts is my favorite VdGG album but Godbluff is a masterpiece as well. I love Peter Hammill's voice and I think he's perfect for the music.

Hatchetaxe&saw
Godbluff is a work of mind-boggling brilliance, and Peter Hammill is a poet and all round genius.
Tommy Sawyer
H to He is my favorite VdGG album Godbluff is good too, although I can't say I have listened to it that often. Peter Hamill's voice is usually great, but I CAN'T STAND when he does that annoying falsetto version of hitting a high note....
