Rush 'N' Roulette

It has been brought to my attention that it exists a LP promo called Rush 'N' Roulette from 1981 with 2 minute samples from a number of songs off ESL. Never heard anything about this before and couldn't find anything on the forum. Though I've heard about the '92 bootleg with the same name, this seems to be something different.

Anyone having some further information about its existence, if it is really out there, or actually seen the record?

Please share!

Some notes on the LP that I've found online myself.

There was actually a double-album, full concert bootleg from the Moving Pictures tour called Rush 'n' Roulette. I bought it in 1984. It was terrible. The recording was very low tech and Geddy was having a terrible night singing.

There are quite a number of albums/CDs with that title, most of which I have including this one.

This was basically a somewhat creative attempt to promote Exit...Stage Left which from what I recall was used by at least one radio station as a means to give away tickets. (Not that this was it's intended purpose.)

It doesn't really have a practical purpose as each song just fades out after two minutes, but at the time it was one of the few cool promotional items out there for collectors. Seems to be rarer now than it used to be. I haven't heard it mentioned all that often anymore.

Hope this helps...
