Strandberg
It has been brought to my attention that it exists a LP promo called Rush 'N' Roulette from 1981 with 2 minute samples from a number of songs off ESL. Never heard anything about this before and couldn't find anything on the forum. Though I've heard about the '92 bootleg with the same name, this seems to be something different. Anyone having some further information about its existence, if it is really out there, or actually seen the record? Please share! Some notes on the LP that I've found online myself. http://www.discogs.com/Rush-Rush-N-Roulette/release/3772080 http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=67737 http://recordcollectormag.com/letters/rush-n-roulette First post by the way, greetings from Sweden! pratt53
There was actually a double-album, full concert bootleg from the Moving Pictures tour called Rush 'n' Roulette. I bought it in 1984. It was terrible. The recording was very low tech and Geddy was having a terrible night singing.
ytserush
There are quite a number of albums/CDs with that title, most of which I have including this one. This was basically a somewhat creative attempt to promote Exit...Stage Left which from what I recall was used by at least one radio station as a means to give away tickets. (Not that this was it's intended purpose.) It doesn't really have a practical purpose as each song just fades out after two minutes, but at the time it was one of the few cool promotional items out there for collectors. Seems to be rarer now than it used to be. I haven't heard it mentioned all that often anymore. Hope this helps... QUOTE RUSH Rush 'N' Roulette (1981 US promotional limited edition 6-track vinyl sampler LP for the 'Exit Stage Left' album. This rare custom pressing has been uniquely mastered causing a completely random song occurence: simply place your tone arm on the edge as normal and when you let 'Rush N Roulette' spin there's an equal chance of playing any one of these six tracks. Spin and enjoy! Housed in a unique custom picture sleeve with instructions MK185).
