GrandDesigner
I've been reading a few of her books on my Kindle and I actually am really enjoying them. I like these types of mysteries that remind me of Sherlock Holmes, where an eccentric detective unveils the plot in such fine layers. I'm usually able to figure out the "enemy" by the latter portion of each book, but they're enjoyable nonetheless. So far I've read: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd The Murder on the Orient Express Secret Adversary The Mysterious Affair At Styles Are there any contemporary authors that capture the spirit of her mysteries? goose
Good fun, these books! Lots of great characters and classic plotlines that have been reworked throughout the years in print and on film.
