ridertoo98
Yep like them. Earlier more than later, but like both.
Powerwindow
Stranger In Us All is an underrated album, and that lineup in concert was powerful - way better than latter-day DP. Doogie White also showed that he could convincingly sing songs from any previous era of Rainbow. Edited November 20, 2011 by Powerwindow
micgtr71
I love Rainbow. Though Dio was fantastic, I enjoyed Joe Lynn Turner as well. Straight Between the Eyes was a great record. Still, Stargazer and the first album are my favorites. When I saw Rush on the Snakes and Arrows tour, RJD was there and a few rows ahead of me. I was sad when he went. One of the custodians where I did my undergrad degree went to high school with him. He was friends with his brother.
Silas Lang
QUOTE (tel @ Nov 17 2011, 09:33 AM)found them to be ok...erm thats it. I agree though their first one is a great, classic album. There's some great tracks from later albums but nothing on the level of Purple at its best. Not at all a fan JLT as a singer. There's some good songs from that era but it's regrettably too polished and bland.
