Visions Ross Jennings ensures: "We are confident this album will not disappoint fans of Aquarius. The Owl Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I loved the first album, but will admit the concept lyrically was a bit cheesy, everything else was great.. I'd like to see a better concept if they are going that route again,.
sullysue Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 QUOTE (The Owl @ Jul 26 2011, 11:41 PM) I loved the first album, but will admit the concept lyrically was a bit cheesy, everything else was great.. I'd like to see a better concept if they are going that route again,. It was a little bit of a throw back in prog terms of concept. A little Marillion, with some Spocks Beard influence as far as the lyrics go. I still have a hard time following the story line, to be honest. But, musically, Aquarius is outstanding. There are times where I don't pay attention to the words anyway. If I can't understand what the hell they're singing or if I don't know what they're singing about, I don't care if they can play the f***ing hell out of a song.
Snowman Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 I really liked Aquarius and I will definately check the new release! These dudes can really play! They have some "funny themes/circus themes" in their songs but I wouldnt skip them, they just makes me jump along.

willowroolz Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I saw these guys support Riverside at the Underworld in London back in 2007. I seem to remember thinking the music was good but the vocalist was awful. How's his voice on the cd? Perhaps he just had an off night?

Yeah he's pretty good, although vocals isn't the bands strong suit.

ColdFireYYZ Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I can't be the only one that has this. So far I'm impressed, even after 1 listen. Even though I love the first album, Visions is way better. Here's the link to "Nocturnal Conspiracy".

The Owl Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 This album is leagues better than Aquarius, which is saying something because that was a very good album as well.
