Okay, here is another Beatles tune covered by Deep Purple MK I. Check it out and be honest. Listen not just to the parts you hear The Beatles did, but check out what they DID with the song! And supposedly, Lennon regrets doing it as a rocker and not as a ballad. He may have liked Purple's version better as well!
