JohnnyBlaze
The following is not my idea. But I like the idea. Scene: A nuclear war has just taken place! Soon, most of the world will be destroyed by radiation. However, you, the delegates of the United Nations, have just learned that due to unusual wind patterns one small, uninhabited island 300 miles off the coast of Australia will not be completely destroyed. Scientists think that the plants on the island will be damaged, but the soil will not be ruined. Unfortunately, there is only time for one small airplane at an Australian airport to make it to the island. Aside from the pilot, the plane can carry only six people. But there are 10 people at the airport who want to get on the airplane. As delegates of the UN, you have to decide which 6 of the following people will live, and which 4 must die. Consider: Remember that the purpose of sending these 6 people to the island is to start a new civilization once the war is over. They will have to survive on their knowledge and recources around them. Possible Survivors: (choose 6) 1. a man of religion (age unknown) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 2. a homosexual doctor (male, age 46) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 3. a female singer (age 30) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 4. a policeman with a gun (age unknown) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 5. a chief of an African tribe (age unknown) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 6. the chief's pregnant wife (age unknown) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 7. a judge (male, age 41) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 8. a university professor (female, age 34) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 9. a warrior from a nearby South Pacific island with a spear (male, age unknown) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: 10. an alcoholic agricultural scientist (female, age unknown) Reasons in favor of Survival: Reasons against Survival: Discuss. Good, bad, andrush
Hope this doesn't get political but I have to say goodbye to the doctor unless he will not show any gay tendencies at all (I would say he could after repopulation, but he'd be dead by then.) plus, the cop and the university professor should suffice for a small group of people. The professor *should* be smart enough to study medicine soon enough or be at least well-informed and the cop knows first aid. So the university professor and cop for sure, and the gun COULD protect them. The female singer to reproduce and actually sing; hey, entertainment is important and even better if she is goo. The chief's wife so that the reproduction can start sooner. And the chief, so that the care of fathering can create a bond with the group. And lastly the hunter, as we need another brave man to help take care of the group. No alcoholic. She'd be uncooperative and might have unhealthy babies. And before you start defending gays...I have nothing against them. If these people repopulate successfully, gay people will come in the future anyway, so there. If the doctor completely forgets being gay, as in doesn't even look at another man, then I'd choose the doctor over the hunter.

I am in favor of him living for his medical knowledge but in this world we just created procreation is only going to happen through male/female intercourse. Just like I am not going to be homosexual if it helps the group a truly homosexual doctor is not going to "be straight" to procreate.

I thought the doctor was the gay one... In prison, nobody's gay...they're all just pieces of duck meat.
JohnnyBlaze
QUOTE (burgeranacoke @ May 24 2011, 05:10 AM) 5. a chief of an African tribe (age unknown) He lives but.. Reasons in favor of Survival: even though he has not proved he is the father of the future child, it is most likely he is and so he has proven he can pro-create. Reasons against Survival: This makes me smile. What made you think the chief's wife slept around? There was nothing in the post that even remotely hinted at that. But I like the idea. Scene:A nuclear war has just taken place! Consider:Remember that the purpose of sending these 6 people to the island is to start a new civilization once the war is over. They will have to survive on their knowledge and recources around them.Possible Survivors:(choose 6) 1. a man of religion (age unknown)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 2. a homosexual doctor (male, age 46)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 3. a female singer (age 30)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 4. a policeman with a gun (age unknown)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 5. a chief of an African tribe (age unknown)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 6. the chief's pregnant wife (age unknown)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 7. a judge (male, age 41)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 8. a university professor (female, age 34)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 9. a warrior from a nearby South Pacific island with a spear (male, age unknown)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: 10. an alcoholic agricultural scientist (female, age unknown)Reasons in favor of Survival:Reasons against Survival: Discuss.

Can we not start again with a new group?
