White water rafting in NC or WV

We've decided to take a jaunt north to get some adventure in this summer.

 

Any of you peeps have experience WW rafting and can recommend good rivers, outfitters, tours etc?

 

We like zip line tours, four wheeler tours, anything fun.

Do not know about the North but in the West (Colorado, Utah) Summer is pretty late in the season for WW rafting.

 

Hiking in the Pisgahs in the fall is tops in NC, just dang beautiful.

I went to this place in '98. It was a lot of fun but the people who told me said the rafting is better the earlier in the year you go 'cuz of the snow melt.
