Great site. Circle of 5ths/4ths is confusing.

 

I'd recommend getting a teacher of you could afford it. I've tried teaching myself piano, and its hard. I got a good teacher and it is much easier now and I'm moving at a much faster pace.

Yup. The graphic of the actual circle is standard theory and appears in one form or another in all good theory texts.

 

A good teacher can take one further than studying on one's own, be they private or part of a class.

Also, check out a beginning music theory text like they use in the intro to music theory classes in high school. Give a call over to your local HS and ask the music teacher.
