snowdogged
Two or three weeks ago Cyndi Lauper was at Buenos Aires airport and flights were delayed for hours and hours and the people were becoming very agitated. Instead of whining and acting like some kind a diva, she got up and sang for the people to ease the tension. Singing at Airport Right now Cyndi Lauper is in Japan because she had already scheduled dates there. I think most artists would have canceled any obligations that they had in Japan for fear of danger and most people wouldn't have blamed them. Mara
Cyndi's always seemed to be a very cool and confident person. Despite the wild clothing, she's always given off this sort of "regular girl" aura. Good on her for the impromptu airport performance!

It's a blues album called Memphis Blues. Here is a song that she did on Letterman from it.

I liked her previous album better, not the jazz one, but the house-dance one. Kudos for her for performing in all different types of genres.
