Boogra
My wife and I went for our first show. I've been a Rush fan since I was about 8, back in 1976, and had never been able to make a show. We did the lawn seat thing, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ended up in jail for three hours after one of the lame ass cops in the police state of Georgia pulled me for supposedly making an illegal U-Turn when no indication of such an infraction existed. My attorney, such as he is, forgot to go to court for me here in Mississippi, and the notice of my license suspension arrived in the mail the day of the concert. The cops were dicks, of course, but the night was still one of the best of my life. It cost me $800 to get out of jail that night, and then another trip down to the cesspool that is the greater Metro Atlanta area (no offense Atlanteans), but all in all, if I knew what was coming, I'd still do it all over again. It was great, and the lawn was a perfect place to be. I saw them a few months later in Nashville in an arena, and I think from now on that I'll be seeing Rush outdoors. There's something about being outside and that music...
