Not true Digi. I was gigantic without ever taking a roid in my thirties. My biceps were 21 inches cold and my forearms were as big as most men's calves.

Marc didn't look like a juicer to anyone who ever seriously lifted. FOOTBALL players are what juicers look like. Marc was an ethiopian compared to them. Even Canseco doesn't measure up to those guys. Google any proffessional body builder for what a juicer looks like. Then look at Marc. No comparison.

And nothing in my genetic history suggests that I should have been so big. The biggest in my family was under six foot and not very large. My Dad was decently big, but nothing freaky. So getting huge, like Marc was, doesn't have to come from steroids. I've proven that. Diet and hard work will get you to the level and even beyond that guys like Marc were at.

As to the HoF controversy. Tick said that the writer's aren't stupid. I agree. They are smart enough to know that McQuire wasn't the only one during that era taking illegal, performance enhancing drugs. Most every pitcher were taking illegal substances as well. That FACT levels the playing field and makes his home run number legitimate.

and compare any football player to a body builder and they don't measure up either.

I know you think you're always right, but you're not. I was bigger than McQuire. Ask anyone who knows me. I doubt you've ever spent any quality time in a gym, so really... don't tell ME i'm talking out my rump. I lifted seriously for over 13 years and trained with Mr. Universe, Ronnie Coleman, himself. I KNOW lifting and what roiders look like. His admittance of using steroids still doesn't mean he abused them. He has no signs of abuse, like Barry did with the enlarged head. And even THAT wasn't from roids.

Telling me i'm talking out my ass when I'm practically an expert on the subject is pretty f*cked up. Just cuz I don't have such a boring life that I can sit in front of a television and watch a boring ass game like baseball doesn't mean I've no knowledge of it and can't spot a roid monkey a mile away. Mark looks big to someone of normal stature. To me... he's not that impressive. He was a big fish in a little pond of LITTLE men. Doesn't make him a roid monkey. Plenty of monkeys out there that don't show it at all. Lance Armstrong for instance.

The only concentration curl you've probably ever done is THINKING about lifting. Mac's muscle bellies are so NOT huge. He's decent, and obviously lifts, but he's nothing like a roider. Look at a wrestler. Look at a competitive bodybuilder. Look at almost any football player. If you think roids aren't HUGE among football players... nearly 99 percent of them, you're naive. Roids are EVERYWHERE. Tiger f***ing Woods does roids.

Why do I bother?

Taking steroids for 10 years is abuse in my book. 99% of football players? Testing in football has pretty damn stringent over the last 20 years. It was a little over 20 years ago when linemen started looking over weight. Once they started being tested for roids, they made up the slack by packing on pounds. I don't remember too many fat offensive linemen in the '70s to mid '80s.
