I'm originally from up near Watertown and we moved away from there when I was thirteen. I rode through the Adirondacks a few years ago farther north on hwy 3 and loved it. Alsgalpal Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Kewl pics!!! The Dyno is where they set the bike up and run it thru the gears, mapping the horse power at all the levels. It will also tell you if you are running lean or rich, and what kind of adjustments you need to make in the carburation and gearing to make your bike run more efficiently. Usually, they use the Dyno if you have set up a power commander in your bike. Installing a power commander puts some things out of whack till you make the necessary adjustments to make it run more efficient and powerfully. When they are done, you can get a mapping of what your bike has done, and is capable of. It looks like a graph. It's like bragging rights to some.
