rickyrob Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 I am restarting the original "Name that Rush Tune", which sadly died a slow death a couple of years ago. The new game will have one or two slight differences. The clip will be posted at 13:00hrs GMT on Friday 21 March 2008. The clip contains 10 No. clips of Rush songs, all 0.9 seconds long each. They are clipped together in a single length .wav file that is 9 seconds long. All you have to do is identify the 10 songs. Easy! Rules: Anyone can post their answers, BUT there MUST be an answer to ALL 10 clips. Anyone who posts within a single day (from 13:00 GMT each day) cannot post again within that particular day (i.e. only one guess per person per day). I will post replies to EVERY guess at about the same time each day (i.e. around 13:00 GMT) My reply will ONLY give HOW MANY are correct in that particular guess. I will not give any indication of which ones are correct. All songs are from STUDIO albums only, except Feedback. There MAY be more than one song from any one album. The FIRST person to answer all 10 correct wins. Prize: R30 Boot from Birmingham, England, Sept 2004 (I attended that particular show). Its excellent quality, is the WHOLE show, over 3 CDs. Remember, there is no way of knowing which answers are right. The only response I will give is something like "4/10", meaning you have got 4 correct, but you don't know which 4. It did work ok like this and avoids complication. There is that chance someone will come along at the very end and get 10/10, after everyone else has done all the donkey work, but thats the game. I made a clip with songs 0.8 seconds each and it can be hard to determine some of these... Well, since I am at it... How about a little "practice run" - since I already made a clip of 10ea Rush songs (0.8 seconds each)... here is the link... see if you can identify all 10!
