rushringleader
I have gotten the Bose In Ear headphones as a gift for Christmas (Leaving before Christmas for vacation, so getting presents early). I listened to them in the Bose store and they were a much improved earbud then the crappy iPod stock headphones. They sounded great with clear everything and a strong bass. I will leave a better review after having more time to listen to them. If you guys have or had these, leave a comment and tell me your experiances. TheRocinanteKid
No but I need some new in-ear headphones I've broken mine. Not exactly sure of the make and model except they were German and bloody amazing. Wish I could get another pair the same but when you don't even know the brand name it's hard. Might have to get some of these Bose ones if they're any good.
D-13
Anything "in ear" will make you deaf. Do yourself a favor...and get headphones that will not kill you. Like the Sony Professional line or something. Just think....Why would anyone want to jam something in their ear that is centimeters away from their ear drum!? Because society tells you it's cool and "In Ear" are the main market for headphones. You're a musician are you not? Isn't that the game? To try and perserve your hearing? I'm 20, and a musician and I go to school at Harris (music school) in Toronto...and so far I've been getting lectures after lectures on hearing loss. "In ear" is the biggest culprit to deafness besides "deaf sound engineers". These are cheaper than your 'in ears'...believe it or not. http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.a...ogon=&langid=EN Sorry about the rant. but people just don't understand how they are killing their hearing over such a little thing! Plus those bose headphones look like they are going to break! anything with wiring that thin will surely short out within months...the Sony Professional ones are only like $150....so your getting STUDIO quality sound for 50 bucks more...and they are sturdy as hell. These are mine: http://www.woodbrass.com/images/woodbrass/SONY+CASQUE+PRO+10Hz+25KHz+MDR7505.JPG

Nothing too expensive - Technics RP-F200 and the sound compared with in ear headphones is astounding. Brilliant stuff. If it wasn't so inconvenient to carry them around all the time I'd probably use them as my only earphones.
J0N
I use real earphones as well - I just keep them around my neck when i'm not using them, is easier than taking them on and off

They dont make a seal around your ear and a vacuum effect. They dont do the same damaging things as lets say the shures may do. Thats why i got these instead of those. the masked drummer
I use these: http://www.shure.com/stellent/groups/public/@gms_gmi_web_us/documents/web_resource/site_img_us_pro_scl2-cl_l.jpg or these: http://www.vicfirth.com/products/images/SIH1.jpg The Vic Firth ones work well for playing drums, but the in-ear ones are less bothersome. I didn't know about the hearing risks. I'm sure if you crank it up enough you'll damage your hearing, but they are so isolated they don't need to be at such a high level...
