The basses I use are: Fender Jazz 2 Series 10 basses(1 four string & 1 five string) Rogue fretless Ibanez Hondo Alien(Steinberger copy) an old Kay bass(Rickinbacker copy) All these basses sound great except for the Ibanez. TSoR Posted February 14, 2005 Share Posted February 14, 2005 I use a Tobias and a Yamaha TRBII - both 5-stringers. I tend to use the Yammy live because it has that all-important rattly, toppy sound. It's also the most comfy to play and has a bottom end to die for!!!!!!!!! It doesn't look right in the Rush/Geddy context I admit, but it sounds the buisiness!!!!!
