Just want to say that I'm not missing the NHL right now because Canadian Jr. hockey is great! If you want to watch competitive, intense hockey, check out these the young guys! I went out to get tickets for our local team (The Rockin' Ass-kicking London Knights! 1022.gif 1022.gif ) and I couldn't get tix til March! The Knights have played 23 games......22 wins and 1 tie.....AWESOME!!!!! The number one team in the country! WOOHOO!!!!

I liked to watch the NHL. I sort of miss it, although with football and basketball going on right now, it's all good 1022.gif

Yea, but football and basketball will end soon. Hockey used to go on until after the new year. Football season is too short! I'm not a b-ball fan so if it ended tomorrow I wouldn't notice. no.gif

I know what you mean man. Football season is way too short. I think they should play 32 games. That would make for much better times. 1022.gif

Alright, this thread needs some spicing up. I haven't been following the OHL, but today I shall choose the Brampton Battalion as my team for the year (since they are the closest team to where I live....and they're doing pretty good).

So my prediction is that it will be a Brampton/London Memorial Cup final (is that the right cup?)....and Brampton will beat them in six.

Oh, and if London is still undefeated come January 14, Brampton's gonna kick their a$$es all over the ice 1022.gif

Let the smack talk begin. firedevil.gif

The Memorial Cup is the championship for all of Canada's Jr. teams...I don't quite remember what the OHL championship is called...All i know is we'll be at both! 1022.gif Actually London is hosting the Memorial Cup this year so we'll already be there anyways! laugh.gif

And yes it looks like Brampton is doing ok as they are 1st in their division but WE are ROLLING! By the way that game u r talking about (Jan. 14) is in our barn so i really wish u guys luck! Cause you're gonna need it! laugh.gif And also on Feb. 17 we'll in your barn and we'll be happy to knock around u guys there as well! biggrin.gif Try and score tix for that game and watch a great team kick some ass! The Knights that is! laugh.gif

I finally was able to score tix for a game this year but have to wait til March to go. Hottest ticket in town...NHL lockout helps too I guess.

Knights win again!! 1022.gif After falling behind 3-0 early in the game the Knights roar back to win 4-3. Streak extends to 27 without a loss...season records stands now at 26 wins, no losses, and 1 tie.

The Streak continues! Knights knock off Erie Otters 5-1, extending streak to 28 games without a loss....Knights can tie Canadian junior hockey record of 29 on Wed. night against the Kitchener Rangers....and break record on Friday night against the last team that beat them... in the playoffs last spring..the guelph Platers

Right on Test....I was at the game. Though the game was scoreless the knights dominated play, outshooting guelph 53-21. Shouldv'e won by at least 6 or 7 goal! 1287.gif trink39.gif

Knights beat Kitchener 4-3 in overtime to extend record unbeaten streak to 31...the machine rolls on!!!! 1022.gif 1022.gif 1022.gif Knights were down3-0 going into third...tied it and won it in OT. Amazing!!!!! 1022.gif

Even without their 3 best players in the lineup who are attending world junior championship camps they still managed to get it done...AMAZING!!! trink39.gif

The Streak comes to an end. Knights lose 5-2 to Sudbury Wolves. But what an incredible run. 31 straight games without a loss to start the season! In a way I'm glad they finally lost. I'd rather the Knights take care of their slumps now rather than late in the year. Anyways they will just start another streak! http://www.therushforum.net/html/emoticons/1022.gif Congratulations London Knights on a great record breaking performance! http://www.therushforum.net/html/emoticons/applaudit.gif http://www.therushforum.net/html/emoticons/applaudit.gif http://www.therushforum.net/html/emoticons/applaudit.gif http://www.therushforum.net/html/emoticons/applaudit.gif http://www.therushforum.net/html/emoticons/applaudit.gif
