It began airing in 2003 on TNN (then known as The New TNN, now known as Spike TV) and I believe they're still making new episodes. Basically this show is a real show in Japan and a group of 4 Americans do all different voices parodying the different people competing in this show. It's very competitive and a lot of the people seemingly get hurt badly by attempting to try different events. One of the 4 people who do the voice talent on this show is Mary Scheer, of Mad TV fame. thestand Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 I believe the Japanese show is something like Takeshi's Castle. That is an actual gameshow, not meant really to be funny.
