Sounds similar to some of their late 80s B sides.  Fear of Ghosts from Disintegration sessions immediately came to mind.

Pornography, as great as it is, is quite tough in terms of lyrics especially with the opener.  In these times, I’m leaning more towards the more melodic moody songs like A Letter to Elise and Pictures of You and the quirky pop like Head on the Door and Wish.

 

And Nothing Is Forever is my favorite on the album.  Such beautiful and lush melodies.
