Mosher Posted June 20, 2020 Share Posted June 20, 2020 Jacob's Ladder was definitely my favorite of these when I first heard the album, while Entre Nous was mediocre and Different Strings was a song I ignored -fine but background music.Over the years Entre Nous has become my favorite of these three, the cool things about Jacob's Ladder are still cool, but the song needs to go further musically. It's ideas are good but the song now feels like it should have another style change and tempo change. Different Strings is a very nice song, but as Rush goes it's not remarkable.
