psionic11 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/transcripts/19840900keyboard.htm Interview with Geddy focusing on his synths and his song-writing approaches at the time. As a bassist / synthesist with a deep appreciation for the 80s synth contributions to classic rock, I found this article very refreshing, informative, and inspiring. How fortunate we were to be part of the classic musical timeliness that was Rush! 5

How fortunate we were to be part of the classic musical timeliness that was Rush! Funny how one letter changes things from musical timelines to musical timeliness... (although I probably meant to say "musical timelessness" in the original post...) Edited February 1, 2017 by psionic11
blueschica Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Thanks for putting this up! It was a really interesting interview. I had to laugh when Geddy said that guys with portable keyboards rubbed him the wrong way. Thank goodness! I can't image Geddy or Rush with a keytar ! :o 1
Lucas Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) I really enjoy reading the old interviews, thanks for posting this There are so many reasons to love Geddy, this being one: Today, do you have to be a "keyboard player" to play keyboards? Obviously not [laughs]. Great sense of humor and personality . . Edited February 1, 2017 by Lucas 2
