  1. I don't get the fascination with this song either. It's not terribly difficult to play, the two major patterns are very repetitive. I would actually find it pretty boring to watch live, and I can imagine they were probably thinking the same thing when trying it out again.
  2. QUOTE (Thunder Bay Rush @ Sep 16 2012, 10:31 AM)The computer screens could be for just about anything, from the lyrics (not likely though) to cues and tips about certain things... computers are everywhere these days and I would imagine would be very useful to a rock band especially one with complex music. Jordan Ruddess, Dream Theater keyboard player uses one for many things. Those are absolutely lyric monitors. They've been using them for a while now, as does just about every big act that tours. No secret there.
  3. If that B setlist if real - I'm torn. I'd love to keep the A setlist, except replace the encore with 2112. Then it's perfect
  4. Well, it may not have ended perfectly, but it was a blast "enjoying" the show with everyone here! Thanks for the fun. Off to bed!
  5. The whole show for me was killer, until Red Sector A. What an odd choice for so close to the end of the show. Then, YYZ (sick of it), Working Man (sick of it), Tom Sawyer (sick of it) then Spirit of Radio (Sick of it). My opinion only! Just a huge let down for me to end the show that way after so many highs.
  6. QUOTE (driventotheedge @ Sep 7 2012, 09:41 PM) QUOTE (kevind2112 @ Sep 7 2012, 07:40 PM) Oops Alex. Solo fail... Details? Please. I have none
  7. QUOTE (The Owl @ Sep 7 2012, 09:37 PM) Not complaining about the setlist....but Touring with a string section and not playing "Losing It" = BIGGEST MISSED OPPORTUNITY EVER! Agreed 100%
  8. YYZ - I'm guessing this is it for the 2nd half, then TSOR and TS andn done.
  9. QUOTE (driventotheedge @ Sep 7 2012, 09:11 PM) QUOTE (Jomboni @ Sep 7 2012, 07:11 PM) manhattan project!!! HELL YESS!!!! I was REALLY hoping for this one. Same here!
  10. Alex playing the piano part? WOW! I wonder if he really was playing or if it was a "time stand still" thing.
  11. QUOTE (Cygnus The God Of Balance @ Sep 7 2012, 08:55 PM) Wish Them Well.... Gotta play The Garden for sure... I would think 10:30ish would be the max.....what's the encore going to be??? They got off to a late start, so 10:45 is not out of the question.
  12. QUOTE (Sheldon Cooper @ Sep 7 2012, 08:50 PM) jizzload.gif Haha!
  13. Alex solo, electric? What the what? They are really switching it up huh? I can't wait to see that!!!!
  14. QUOTE (glennb2112 @ Sep 7 2012, 08:44 PM) QUOTE (kevind2112 @ Sep 7 2012, 08:43 PM) Probably just me, but TSOR and TS as encores seem like a let down after the epicness so far. while i wont be headed for the exits early...it does beat working man Maybe it's time to bring back In The Mood
  15. Probably just me, but TSOR and TS as encores seem like a let down after the epicness so far.
  16. The Wreckers! - Again, I'm in the minority, but this is my favorite tune on CA.
  17. I love that they're playing CA in order (mostly). I wonder what the crowd reaction is though.
  18. QUOTE (ThinkingBig @ Sep 7 2012, 08:17 PM) As much as I loved the first set, I just had a horrifying thought... Is MP being thrown under the bus with only one song (TS)? Limelight has become a staple IMO. I actually don't mind it. They've beaten that album to death live, especially considering they did it top to bottom last tour. Makes room for some other cool stuff.
