  2. QUOTE (ShlappinDahBass @ Jun 9 2012, 04:43 PM) In terms with comparing it to the actually story. I feel the artwork actually fits almost perfectly. Clockwork Angels is kind of a darker story for Rush. And the dark red in the background with the swirling effect represents the chaos and lack of order in the music and the story. The clock represents, of course, the "Clockwork" Angels. Whilst the different symbols are elements. Plus, the actual time on the clock is just fun. 9:12...Which is Neil's birthday and 21:12 in military time. I give massive props to the artwork. Well spoken!!!!
  3. Well, I'm glad they are not playing Rotterdam this time, because Ahoy has a terrible acoustic. They did 2 nights in Ahoy at the SnA tour to make the video, and both nights the venue was filled up good. On the other hand, I think it were the same people both nights (I was)!!! I think it's a good thing they moved to Amsterdam now. It's a concert hall, specially designed ceiling and everything. So I'm quite confident it will be great. And I wouldn't worry about getting the place filled up. Amsterdam is much more appealing as a city than Rotterdam. I'm glad I don't have to feed all the people from England who will come to see the show over here, because I really believe they will show up in large numbers. Relaxing, getting A Passage to Bangkok, and some (window) shopping in the Red Light Sector A. The "Vorst Nationaal" venue in Brussels would be awesome, but it's a long time gone since they played there. Don't think it will ever happen again. Prices are high, yes, but missing out............. naaaaahhhhhhhh. Payed $ 250,-- for one seat in Boston. It's my band, and I'm going, regardless the price. Or as Neil says................
  4. I'll be there with wife and kiddo. They have the right of education!!!
  5. QUOTE (L. Wince @ Feb 5 2011, 03:23 PM) Me and my brother are getting tickets to the April 12th Show in Chicago, IL. We are going to be traveling from Nebraska to see Rush. Awesome! Anybody else traveling to see Rush, and how far? Went to see them in Boston September 14th 2010. I travelled from The Netherlands. Was an awesome trip.

  7. QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Dec 13 2010, 06:43 PM) You all are lucky you've got a chance to see them in 2011. As of this time there is nothing scheduled near me, so I'm hoping they'll throw in a Red Rocks show come summer time. They won't tour forever, keep that in mind! Yep, they won't tour forever. That's why I flew over to the USA to see them there on this very special Tour where they would play MP. Now they show up in Europe anyway. Only 1 gig on the mainland, so get a ticket, a week later a second show is added, even closer to home, so get another ticket. What's next??

I can't help but get all emotional when I hear them, particularly the last verse. One of my fav song Yep, didn't see much of TSS in Boston, because tears were filling my eyes, no shit. Either I'm a whimp or those are some damn good lyrics!!! Who'se calling me a whimp? You're not a wimp. You just get those lyrics now. It happens as one gets older.... Jackpot!!!! That's why I came all the way over from Europe to see them on this tour in Boston. Just wanted to do this, it may be to late one day. Roger Waters also said something about time, and the other guy, what's his name.............. Stephen Hawking

QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Oct 18 2010, 05:29 AM) QUOTE (danielmclark @ Oct 17 2010, 05:43 PM) It would be a travesty if the bootleg from that show wasn't called "Guess what, still no guitar" That was from the Boston show, and yes, one of the bootlegs from that show was called Still No Guitar I know cause my buddy taped it and we listened to it on the way home from the show that night lol You can get it on Dime Damn right LSM That was great to witness Seeing it back now really brings up some memories!! TIME STAND STILL!!!!!!!!!
  11. Well, came all the way from The Netherlands to see them in Boston, but it was worth every penny! Boston was cool too, and the people I met there are best. Next tour they have to visit Europe!!!
  12. Far cry Second nature Manhattan project YYZ The trees No need for further explanation Just a cut through I thought of in 0.3 seconds btw, I never put energy in people who are not sincere about Rush, actually are not interested, or just wanna make fun of Geddy's voice. If you don't wanna know, the happier I am.
  13. Pump up the volume with a program called "Cool edit pro" or something.
