  1. One of the cooler guys on here who I could see myself having a brew with.
  2. All those bands, plus The Talking Heads
  3. Star breaker ( that Simon Phillips opening drum fill ) Here comes the Tears Epitaph Let us Prey/ Call for the Priest Solar Angels
  4. Dissident Aggresor Victim of changes Sinner Rapid Fire Screaming for Vengeance But this could change at anytime..
  5. Honestly, I haven't liked his singing no since around TFE. It's gotten cringeworthy since then. The guys voice is shot.
  6. Chuck Norris is a legit bad ass. Unlike Segal. He's the real deal. Third degree Black Belt in BJJ at 75 .. http://m.fightland.vice.com/blog/chuck-norris-earns-3rd-degree-black-belt-in-bjj
  7. Oh god yeah. Absolute crap. Just watching him order two chili dogs for Gary Busey is laughable. I meant nuff said in a good way! Ha! This and Roadhouse are huge guilty pleasures!
  8. Greatest thread in the history of TRF I'll take Sam with an 8 ball and some oil.. and a glazed donut.. to go
  9. Exact opposite here. Vocals are the first thing i focus on. I have listened to plenty of bands over the years who had music that i liked, but the vocals were not appealing. Hence I never listen to those bands. Wait, are you sure you like Rush? ;)
  10. I'm tired of this whole singing fascination. Seriously, vocals are typically the last thing I hear when listening to music. Both of these ladies bore me cause the music is boring.
  11. See what happens? You leave Boston, you lose your mind. :) Ha! All this open space is driving me insane! I miss the traffic.. I'd give anything to be jammed up at the Concord rotary again We drove out to Buffalo Wyoming yesterday. 60 miles away. We were cruising at a comfortable 85 the whole way. No one on the road. What the hell is goin on?! :)
  12. I think SFV is a bit overrated among Priest albums. I prefer BS. And all of their 70s stuff. I gotta go with Motörhead on this one.
  13. RIP .. Al Jarreau, Grammy-winning jazz singer, dead at 76 - CNN https://apple.news/AvRO9zoCjT-y3zStWNgSzig
  14. Lovely motor John Love it, full on V8 Muscle car. Didn't Jim Rockford have a bronze Firebird or something? You are correct sir. I'm kind of getting used to this forum now and trying to develop a thicker skin dude and not take the piss takes to heart and get to know what makes people tick. Takes a while dude Keep trying, you'll get there. I have made a lot of mistakes John and I have a lot to do to try to resolve things. Love Muscle cars though dude, V8's just rule ha ha I hate V8s. They suck.
  15. I've never seen that. Some funny shit right there. Never got the Pixies. They sound like a band that was formed in a dorm Room as s joke who can barely play their instruments. " Hey guys, I think I'm out of tune" " Alternate tuning man! Just roll with it!" " We are so against the mainstream!!"

  17. Anthem is Metal IMO. Especially that live version from Different Stages. Anthrax covered it recently.
  18. GNR are IMO the most overrated band in history. One solid debut. It amazes me how much ass kissing the critics gave them.

  20. I can't even remember how we found out the concerts were coming- the radio announced it, I guess? And then the band put tour ads in Rolling Stone and Circus or Creem or whatever? I know the details would be in the local newspaper about the exact date of the local sale. Yeah mostly it was the radio from what I remember. That's my memory too. WBCN, WAAF and WCOZ were the three main rock stations in the Boston(ish) area that would run commercials about upcoming shows. "Don Law presents . . . " WCOZ.. kick ass rock n roll!
  21. Hair Metal was what hurt the image of the 80s. If you weren't actually active in the music scene during that time, you'd think all bands were like Motkey Crue. But there many innovative and groundbreaking genres.. new wave, post punk, rap..unfortunately, the sunset strip scene seemed to have dominated the spotlight in the second half of the decade. And honestly, I dont hate all of that stuff..im a fan of the first three Crue albums.,
