  1. QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ Apr 22 2010, 12:55 PM) ...dressed in TV Guides That's...just how I hear it. I will never hear it the same way again.
  2. My hopes for an opener: Hemispheres Prelude Bastille Day The Camera Eye (It won't happen, but the buildup is so EPIC) 2112 Big Money (I know many would disagree) Analog Kid (Kick things off with a bang!) NOT Limelight
  3. QUOTE (shaun3701 @ Apr 8 2010, 08:43 PM)I think they should get Christopher Lloyd to do the intro video, and Geddy can have a DeLorean behind him on stage I had mentioned this in another thread, and I hope we are right! Maybe Alex will come out playing that red Gibson ES-355 from BTTF! And you know...Michael J. Fox is Canadian. I know he's not in the greatest shape because of his Parkinson's disease, but you never know...
  4. The epic conclusion to God of Balance from Hemispheres. Gives me goose bumps every time.
  5. Thanks for the info! Since I'm from the area, I always try to hit up Summerfest at least once every year. Once again, I will be there!
  6. QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 12 2010, 02:31 PM) No shit. $21/ticket? Pisses me off more than anything about the ticket prices. And this is a monopoly. Last I checked, those weren't legal. Yep. There's only two kids on the block: Ticketmaster and Livenation. It does seem rather shady, doesn't it? My mother had mentioned that she saw a show on the Permanent Waves tour and paid less than 15 bucks for the ticket. Makes me rage real hard.
  7. QUOTE (Tigershark2112 @ Apr 12 2010, 02:49 PM) Grandfather clocks! (They are 'Time Machines') Hmm....That is entirely possible.
  8. QUOTE (spok @ Apr 12 2010, 02:35 PM) Hopefully the full analog setup of Neils Bells, blocks, gongs, African drums, glockenspiels and whatever else he needs to truly play a gig for the time machine tour I agree, but the random stuff behind Geddy was meant to fill in the gap where his amps used to be before he started porting the bass directly through the PA. As I recall Neil had all that stuff even when Geddy still had his amps...
  9. Dryers, vending machines, chicken roasters...what's next? I'm hoping for a replica of the Back to the Future DeLorean or something to fit the "Time Machine" theme. What do you guys think?
  10. I would be beyond excited if that happened, although I agree with the earlier post: We are expecting too much. The fact that all of Moving Pictures is being played is substantial on its own.
  11. I honestly don't have a problem with the base prices of the tickets. The problem is the incredible number of fees that the promoters make up names for. Ticketmaster is NOTORIOUS for this. Last time I bought tickets from them, I actually had to laugh at some of the fees. They are absolutely ridiculous.
  12. Yes!!! Summerfest! I knew it! They always seem to make a stop in Milwaukee if they can. I can't wait for The Camera Eye. I get the feeling we may hear some other old rarities as well. (Hoping for Hemispheres prelude.....) It'll also be cool to hear what they've been working on in the studio recently. I am PUMPED!
  13. The Analog Kid. I hadn't listened to much of Signals until recently, and this song really caught my attention. Its been stuck in my head for almost a week now. Its freaking excellent.
  14. Red Barchetta, simply because it is THE song that got me into Rush in the first place. I do love The Camera Eye and Witch Hunt, though.
  15. Circumstances....and Jacob's Ladder. Yes, at the same time.
  16. Exit Stage left. I just can't get enough of AL's flanged tone!
  17. Cygnus Book II for sure. The Trees is a close second.
  18. Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres The same 18 minutes has been repeating in my head for days now.
