  1. I'm a big Stephen King fan, I'm into the Dark Tower series at the moment, up to Badlands..it's different but good. The best adaptions or films for me have to be no.1 The Shining..the film is one of my all time favourites, Jack Nicholson is just amazing in that, he's f***in' creepy but funny at the same time, but the book is even better. No. 2 would be The Green Mile, just a great film and book. The biggest disappointment for me was Dreamcatcher, such an amazing book, which really got into your mind, but the film was crap, very difficult to put that one on the screen I think, gotta agree with Andrake..Morgan Freeman was so misscast as Colonel Kurtz..the man was supposed to be a raving psychopath... and the end was shite.

QUOTE (Moonraker @ Mar 21 2005, 12:49 AM)QUOTE (Huck @ Mar 20 2005, 11:03 AM) Oasis - Manchester July 3rd I just heard that Kasabian will be opening for them, I might catch the show just for them, but never was much of an Oasis fan. I might still yet get the chance to see them this year. Yeah, I've heard that too. I've heard a couple of their tracks on the radio and saw "Processed Beats" on MTV this morning...it's cool. I'll have to get their CD.

  5. QUOTE (dweezil @ Mar 16 2005, 05:14 PM)QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Mar 16 2005, 10:08 AM) My newest little darlings...they got to go to California with me. It's hard to tell from the pic, but they have these tiny little rhinestone accents on the straps, so you might think "dressy"---but wild woman that I am, I wore them with jeans. I like the contrast ....Rolinda was gracious enough to notice them and then talk shoes with me for a bit. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v297/RushBabe/Board%20Pics/peltzshoestore_1830_50740130.jpg These were part of wardrobe change #2...#3 if you count changing from my PJ's to my Trilogy-rehearsal-watching outfit. Thank you for tuning in to "Fashion Watch"---join us tomorrow when I'll be discussing the merits of boot cut vs. traditional cut jeans... I have hair on my toes ...... so won't wear those kind. It's blonde, so no one notices but me!! Also, boot cut all the way. They're sexier. I recall really tight stovepipe leg jeans They looked pretty bad on peeps with huge arses. I had a pair I called quick f**k jeans --the zipper went all the way from the front to the back. They were uncomfortable and dangerous.

    'Saw'

QUOTE (Snowdog @ Mar 13 2005, 11:53 PM) Just saw this. To echo Jack, what a creepy movie. And the plot twist was genius. The scary part to me is that there are minds devious enough to conceive of this storyline. edit for typos I "saw" this a few months ago- Brilliant film, scary, suspenseful and like you say a brilliant twist at the end
