The eps before Harold left to join the corporate world were the best. it kinda jumped the shark for me when they started focussing on minor players like the sewage sucking guy and the ex-con and the animal trainer, funny though they are.

I think a higher up member of the Academy nominates a person to receive the lifetime award, then some committee approves it. I seem to recall that's how it went when Elia Kazan got his a few years ago.

Never saw it, but I did five years at McHell and can vouch for the dubious environment. The entire time I worked there taught me not to eat their food.
