  1. Oh lawd Jesus, it's a fahr! Watched the original news clip numerous times, and it just doesn't get old! Beyond ridiculous.
  2. Glad to hear it bud. They're a unique band with a ton of great albums. Dig in!
  3. This is one absolutely amazing band! No two albums sound alike, yet they all sound like KJ! One of my favorite bands ever. Anyone else know this greatly underappreciated band?
  4. Life Of Pi - pleasantly surprised by this one. What a great film!
  5. Agreed. Haven't seen it in awhile, but last time I did it was a little shittier than I remembered.
  6. Next night off from work I plan to check it out.
  7. So, it didn't tarnish the legacy of the original? I absolutely hate remakes of horror films I grew up with, but this one looks like it might be pretty decent.
  8. Let's not forget he wrote 3 films for the late, great Russ Meyer!
  9. lol, wha?? I know loads of debut albums that can at least match best works. In a word, energy. Exactly! Most bands debuts are some of their best work. This guy is waaaaayyyyy off!
  10. I actually think they (the Ozzy era) peaked with Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Some of Sabotage is brilliant (Hole in the Sky) some of it stinks (Am I Going Insane [Radio]). Those are my favorite Sabbath albums, so I can agree with that!
  11. They're gonna be about an hour and a half away in Syracuse, not a bad drive for such a show.
  12. From what I've read, it's more like Master of Reality than, say, Scream or The Devil You Know, but that's coming from sources close to the band, who know that's what most fans would prefer. It's funny you should say that because this is the artwork for the new album. It may be a placeholder or maybe they're just using this logo and it's an unfinished version with the title still a mystery. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fc/BlackSabbath13.jpeg
  13. They peaked with Sabotage. I'm curious to hear it, but I'm afraid it'll sound like modern day Ozzy garbage. The new songs on the Reunion cd were atrocious!
  14. Same here. Can't believe how good they are live, the dvd is great too. It's gonna be a great show in a couple weeks- OG and Clutch! Earth Rocker is an amazing album too!
  15. Good list. The Who and AC/DC could never be overrated however. :goodone:
  16. Thieving From the House of God Healing Through Fire Time Travelling Blues - in that order. And so that's the way it's going down :ebert:
  17. definitely their best album, but you don't think of Static Age as the first one? Static Age is actually my favorite and I do consider it the first, but I just went with what technically came out first. Both are great. Both of those albums are great, Earth A.D. on the other hand, meh. I love Earth A.D. too. I didn't at first...the worse-than-usual (even by 'Fits standards) production threw me off, but now I think it's a damn fine hardcore record. Production is def bottom of the barrel for sure. Some good songs- We Bite, Death Comes Ripping etc. I just miss the catchiness and all the "wooooo's" from the previous stuff.
