  1. 5.6, like I said on FB, but after checking the USGS page again, it was only a depth of 3.1 miles! The more shallow a quake, the larger area of shaking.
  2. I was just listening to Return to Forever/Romantic Warrior just yesterday. What a talent!
  3. Pro Mark first posted this on their Facebook Page, and Peartdrumsticks received email confirmation that Freddie passed on.
  4. RIP Freddie. Thanks for all you have done.
  5. Ok. I went back and listened to Royster, Copeland, Harrison, Chambers, and Peart. Letterman obviously loved Chambers the most. I though Chambers could have done more, he certainly is talented enough to do so. That left me a little disappointed. The crowd reaction I thought was strongest for Peart. I guess if I hadn't seen Peart before, I would have thought he was the best. I did show it to an friend not familiar with Peart, and she said that she hasn't seen anything like that before. So my view was a little off target. If I have to rank them, and this is purely my viewpoint... Royster Peart Copeland Harrison and Chambers, can't decide which one is above the other.

    Yes or No?

I kinda like it. (Kinda). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYyt10hnIIg&feature=share

    Why so much hate?

I like Dog Years. Totally serious.
  8. QUOTE (Khan @ Sep 13 2011, 05:37 AM) All the more reason to avoid CP... Well, the upgrades for me are a necessity. IPB doesn't offer support for any of their board software past the most recent, stable release. So I upgrade to be able to keep the IPB support option open if I should need it.
  9. QUOTE (Tony R @ Sep 12 2011, 05:09 PM) Both work equally well on both iPhone and iPad. I hate mobile versions of sites. Knowing the Admin at CP like I do, I beg him not to perform an upgrade... CP updates are like farts. They're inevitable, and they stink.
  10. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 12 2011, 01:03 PM) And we have done nothing to make this site more mobile-friendly. It's just how we roll. Seriously, why do you think that is? Both are Invision boards, and CP's version is a lot more recent. My problem was that when I went to reply to a post, the keyboard on my phone would not come up, no matter how many times I refreshed the screen, tapped on the reply box area, etc. Knowing the admin of CP like I do, it was probably the skin I was using. If I had switched to the IPB mobile skin, it would have worked just fine. I do a lot of skin customization's when I put a new one up. I know I screwed up the code somewhere when I did the skins for 3.1.4, especially the search .css. So I'm sure is was a screwed up code. For IPB 3.2, I am rebuilding the skins (again) on a test board, then when all the skins are done, I'm upgrading. This is just one thing to add to the list when I test everything out.
  11. Why on earth does it take 30 minutes for a 2 second process??????
  12. One thing that has gone through my mind, is that the Bay Area is due for a BIG quake. This release of energy only puts more pressure on the Bay Area faults. Not good...
  13. QUOTE (Draco @ Sep 2 2011, 08:23 PM)I took a drive on a very curvy back road. Doesn't sound like much, but the scenery was breath taking. That was very nice. I made the same drive. This time, I took pictures. http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/9_2011/003.jpg http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/9_2011/006.jpg http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/9_2011/012.jpg http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/9_2011/011.jpg And something I never expected to see in California! (At least in the Bay Area). http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/9_2011/018.jpg
  14. QUOTE (Babycat @ Sep 9 2011, 10:37 AM) I'm probably being ridiculous, but I'm scared s***less of dying... No. You're not being ridiculous. I feel the exact same way.
  15. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 5 2011, 07:20 PM) Pinned. We and CP are showing a little support for Alex's joint. Yep. Thanks 1-0-0-1!
  16. QUOTE (Gilbertk @ Sep 5 2011, 07:43 PM) I'd say tuned down just because that's how it's done live and I prefer the live energy. Now if they'd just do the whole song... I know it's not the same as seeing it live, but they do all of 2112 tuned down on Different Stages.
  17. I took a drive along the California Coast yesterday. http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/IMG_0010.jpg http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/IMG_0060.jpg http://www.rushweb.net/pics/personal/IMG_0075.jpg
  18. Cleavage is ok, but I'm all about the legs. If a woman has a great set of legs, I'm immediately in lust.
  19. I grew up on the studio version, and I vote for the turned (errrrr, tuned) down version hands down.
  20. QUOTE (Mika @ Sep 4 2011, 01:01 AM) I challenge anyone to say they've had a bad Rush concert! Well, since you made the challenge... Out of the 35 shows I've seen, there was one that really was a total suck fest. It was the opening show of the RTB tour in Hamilton, Ont. Geddy was forgetting lyrics for a good portion of the show, Alex started Closer to the Heart in the wrong key (He restarted the song), etc. Neil and his solo kinda saved the night, but I remember walking out of Copps Coliseum telling my friends that the show sucked. Although I didn't go to the next night in Rochester, NY, I heard that was the best show of the tour. When they came to Buffalo during that tour, they certainly made up for Hamilton.
