  6. QUOTE (Merely Space @ May 14 2012, 09:21 AM) I have ordered 100 fanpacks and a quart of super glue. When they arrive, I will super glue the magazine pictures all over my car, and the cds to my naked body (Shiny side out). I'll force my wife to drive the car around town while I stand atop it, resplendent in all my naked shiny Rush cd glory! Like a knight riding a dragon will I be the harbinger of new Rush for the greater Houston area! Can I please sig that?

    911?

I guess it's politically incorrect for us to have to dial "911" whenever we have an emergency?

    911?

QUOTE (The Mighty Dudad @ May 11 2012, 07:36 PM) http://cdn.head-fi.org/3/36/36507fd1_Awesome5B15D.jpg This thread has kept me entertained all day! It has EVERYTHING. Drama, Mystery, Comedy, a Life-affirming Message, etc. Can't wait for the sequel! Man...that seal got me!

    911?

My clock says 9:11 twice a day. How insensitive and disrespectful! Doesn't that clock know thousands of people were murdered on that day? It should go from 9:10 straight to 9:12, out of respect....

  12. Sounds like it would be more of a confidence killer, since it would cause more speeding tickets.
  13. That is, unless we all die in December.
  14. There will surely be some classical rock music fans in the year 2112. Certainly!
  15. I hate how people say stuff like "although it's not consistently heavy..." like it's a bad thing or something.... I don't give a damn if it's heavy or not. I would actually not like it as much if it were all pedal-to-the-metal from start to finish. That would make the album as a whole sound like utter shit and become boring after 2 songs. I'm so glad Rush still writes softer music even though so many people expect nonstop metal all the time.
  16. Im almost through the album "Astra". Pretty good! I enjoyed the THX audio logo at the start of Countdown to Zero Ooo i like the synth part in Suspicion! Reminds me of the Sandopolis Zone music in Sonic & Knuckles
  17. Are we congratulating him or us? Congrats DPR! cheers
  18. Listened to the entire Alpha album at work and found it to be ...eh A couple of songs I loved, though...does that mean the rest are clunkers, or do I need to listen to them more? I saw them live a couple of years ago on the Omega tour and thought they were great. Now listening through the first album which I have enjoyed before.

  20. This thread won't go away any time soon I take it...
  21. QUOTE (Merely Space @ May 8 2012, 07:47 AM) I still enjoy it very much. Oddly, I find it very melodic and catchy. The chorus lingers in my mind after listening, and I find myself humming it. At first I didn't pick up on the subtle melodies in the song. Like Caravan, it just sounded awkward at first, but now I'm starting to hear it and appreciate it a lot more, just like Caravan! I love the song that much more now and will continue to enjoy it well after the album's release
  22. I really hope the strings haven't replaced the fluttery keyboards in BU2B. I love those parts.
