  1. Like sex in a canoe, eh !! <someone else can add the punchline>
  2. Jamie Foxx might be good based on what I've heard about that Ray Charles biopic. Edit: And another thing.....the 'Hendrix Estate' seems to be an awful entity to deal with, so it may be awhile before this actually gets made. Do a quick Google search on "Hendrix Estate", and you will find a litany of lawsuits. Sheesh
  3. Yep, Salem's Lot freaked me out for years......the scene where the kid floats up to his brother's window and starts scratching on it....yipes (I just noticed that there doesn't appear to be a 'scared' emoticon here....I demand a scared emoticon )
  4. I'm guessing it was the David Cronenberg film Shivers Gotta love Cronenberg A few months ago he filmed a few scenes from his next film in the little village mall behind my house....unfortunately I was at work and didn't see any of the action I think the film is going to be titled something like American HIStory ?
  5. QUOTE (Drumnut @ Jan 4 2005, 03:01 PM) QUOTE (Indica @ Jan 4 2005, 11:23 AM) QUOTE (kazzman @ Jan 4 2005, 01:41 PM) I'll be sure to hand you a beer then... If it's Bud beer then he may never know the difference. Bud is piss-water anyway! Add to that list any other American beer
  6. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Jan 3 2005, 08:58 AM)QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Jan 1 2005, 12:24 PM) QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Dec 31 2004, 01:56 PM) QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Dec 30 2004, 02:43 PM) 'I know you did see that once upon the Lupercal I did thrice present him with a kingly crown, which he did thrice refuse.' New day, new quote: 'There's a hole in my life. My ladyfriend left me.' Today I shall offer a hint. One of the stars of this movie currently stars in an enormously popular sitcom. Sorry I was negilgent in my duties yesterday. I was quite busy. Here's a quote and a hint. Quote: Character one: "You're not vain!" Character two: "Thanks man, I appreciate that." Character one: "You're just shallow." Hint: one of the actors appearing in this film was also in the movie 'Swingers', but it's not Vince Vaughn or John Favreau. [Edited to fix a typo in the last quote.] Office Space (based on Ron Livingston in Swingers and Jennifer Aniston in Friends - nice clues!)
  7. I've seen indoor and outdoor, and indoor gets the nod because of their lightshow. It's not dark enough to apprectiate the lights until halfway through the show at an outdoor venue.
  8. QUOTE (Bastille Night @ Dec 22 2004, 11:50 AM)Here's an easy seasonal pic: http://www.iuploads.com/uploads/cddeacddf2.jpg ....don't want people to be scared off by the legalese in the previous post (although you would be well served to read it!!)
  9. Excellent, I loved that movie!! Alright, since I may not be around much in the next few days, here's an easy seasonal pic: http://www.iuploads.com/uploads/cddeacddf2.jpg

  15. It's Friday night!!!! Immanuel Kant was a real pissant who was very rarely stable, Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could think you under the table, David Hume could out-consume Schopenhauer and Hegel, And Wittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as schloshed as Schlegel. There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'bout the turning of the wrist, Socrates himself was permanently pissed... John Stuart Mill, of his own free will, with half a pint of shandy was particularly ill, Plato, they say, could stick it away, half a crate of whiskey every day, Aristotle, Aristotle was a beggar for the bottle, Hobbes was fond of his dram, And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart, "I drink therefore I am." Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed; A lovely little thinker but a bugger when he's pissed. http://www.therushforum.net/html/emoticons/trink39.gif

  17. GOOD EVENING, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, HERE'S A LITTLE NUMBER I TOSSED OFF RECENTLY IN THE CARIBBEAN. Isn't it awfully nice to have a penis, Isn't it frightfully good to have a dong. It's swell to have a stiffy, It's divine to own a dick. From the tiniest little tadger, To the world's biggest prick. So three cheers for your willy or John Thomas. Hooray for your one-eyed trouser snake. Your piece of pork, Your wife's best friend, Your Percy or your cock. You can wrap it up in ribbons, You can slip it in your sock. But don't take it out in public Or they will stick you in the dock, And you won't come back.
  18. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ Dec 11 2004, 05:42 PM) My b-day is May 3...Only living famous person I share with is James Brown (I FEEL GOOD!!! ) Share with 2 deceased famous folks....Crooner Bing Crosby and political scientist/writer Niccolo Machiavelli..... If you were born a day earlier, you could share your birthday with ME !! ....and the following list of losers: Richthofen, Manfred von (1892) (The Red Baron!!...did Snoppy ever get him?) Spock, Dr. (1903) (The kid one, not the cool Star Trek one) Jagger, Bianca (1945) (At least she married someone famous) Rock, The (1972) Beckham, David (1975) (Hot wife) von Oy, Jenna (1977) (Played 'Six' on Blossom....if you don't understand this, you're not missing anything important) Harkleroad, Ashley (1985) (Hot tennis player .....hey, she's almost twenty...) Hughes, Sarah (1985) (Hot figure skater .....hey, she's almost twenty...)
  19. Burton + Depp + Wonka = One helluva cool movie....at least it better be, or I'll be sorely disappointed
  20. QUOTE (Moonraker @ Dec 10 2004, 01:47 AM) QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ Dec 9 2004, 10:23 PM) QUOTE (kazzman @ Dec 9 2004, 04:11 PM) Gee I wonder what movie based on a classic novel this is... I know I know!!!!! But....my lips are sealed The Little Engine That Could I like how Jack changed the title of the thread so that all of these responses sound absurd......and the trailer's pretty cool too
  21. QUOTE (afansince74 @ Dec 10 2004, 09:33 PM) QUOTE (Chasartymac @ Dec 10 2004, 06:46 PM) I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition. NNNNNNNOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!!! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again. (Pedantic note: it's "I didn't expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition.)
