  1. I was watching the final round of the Masters and when she told me to take out the garbage I told my wife to take out the f***ing garbage your own bitchy self. I cant really say what happened next but I woke up in the street with the lawn mower on my head and she was trying to crank it up. Not really..
  2. RIR was not shot in HD, which sucks beyond anything remotely imaginable in my mind. Not to mention the audio is just horrible. I honestly can't beleive the released it. The whole thing is sad because quite frankly, its one of RUSH's greatest performances aver caught on film... Until the Time Machine disk comes out...
  3. QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ May 16 2011, 12:40 PM) It's not a chick flick. Much funnier than The Hangover to me, to which it's compared. It's nothing brilliant, but it was very fresh and spry....and funnier than most films today, whatever that's worth. As a complete sidebar, I love how guys want to revoke man cards for seeing movies with mostly women in them...as opposed to mostly guys. Or seeing a film with a shirtless "The Rock" slapping around other muscular guys or some such thing -- versus spend two hours a bevy of beautiful ladies. Talk about irony!! I agree 100% I thought 300 was about as gay as movies get. I couldn't watch it. My wife who hates nloody movies liked watching for all the male posing that was going on. Me? I'd rather the watch a movie like The Ugly Trurh (ha! same lead actor ), or anything with Jennifer Anniston in it. I'll admit I was not amped about seeing Bridesmaids, but it does look funny and would have given it a shot. Now, I;m going.
  4. My office neighbor has two newer Maserati's and two porsche's. He says the Mazzers are a pain in the ass. Never running right. and the dealer is a dick about it.
  5. excellent job. Very nice work
  6. QUOTE (laughedatbytime @ May 14 2011, 03:57 PM) I haven't watched anything on the networks since Seinfeld left the air (other than sports). I watched five minutes of one of the Real Housewives with my wife. It made me reconsider my opposition to the death penalty.
  7. QUOTE (CMWriter @ May 7 2011, 04:49 PM) Cheap Trick and 38 Special at Memorial Park, Omaha, NE. July 1. Information on the concert here. (: This'll be my.. sixth, maybe, time going to the "Bank of the West Celebrates America" concert. Can't say I'm a huge fan of either band playing this year (not as great as the year Three Dog Night and REO Speedwagon came!) but it's always a great time and tens of thousands of people come. Not to mention they have stellar fireworks at the end! If anyone's up for a road trip the concert is free. They just ask that you either donate $5 or some canned goods for the Food Bank, since it's kind of a charity project, too. Parking's a complete pain, but thankfully I only live a few blocks from the park. Walking distance! Bring your own chair! 38 Special puts on amazing show! This guys are pros! I'm going to see Rick Springfield in July. Whatever makes the girl happy..
  8. QUOTE (rushgoober @ May 14 2011, 07:16 AM) America's Next Top Model, ' The only thing worse than ANTM is The Real Housewives of... The absolute worst dreck ever aired. And God help me why my dear wife loves those shows. A bunch of self centered idiots showing their asses to the world. Atlanta and NJ tops the list. No reflection on you of course
  9. CHUCK didn't get cancelled? My whole family watches that show together but its gotten tiresome. I heard it was getting axed but it sounds like 'no'. The Event could have survived if they'd rid of that HORRIBLE actress that played the queen alien. Ack! Awful! What casting agent picked that dreafully dry, wooden, troll with a voice like nails on a chalkboard. V was a decent show but that stupid team of resistance resistance fighters was ridiculous. I mean how many dead aliens did they get. They couldnt just get a TV film crew in there to expose the plot to the world? This is why except for a few shows we watch Discovery channel more than anything. By the way, if anyone wants to see all the full stories, here's a link.. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/
  10. QUOTE (Xanadu93 @ May 13 2011, 05:18 PM) QUOTE (greg2112 @ May 13 2011, 07:56 AM) Out of left field a bit here, but Im going to say the ending guitar solo on Boston's "Hitch a Ride." Beautiful, tasteful, tuneful playing with amazing tone by the great Tom Scholz. This <3 Hell yeah!

  12. QUOTE (tjtull @ May 13 2011, 03:17 PM) QUOTE (skalamander2112 @ May 13 2011, 02:59 PM) cant believe nobodys mentioned Hendrix...Little Wing, man.... +1 The standard to be judged by!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuThNm_iLRs LOve the bass groove here too
  13. This is all brilliant, but from about 7:30 to 7:45 I get chills every time. And the solos here are mind (and string) bending. Love the windmill around 4:40! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GSpbuFSr2o This whole song rips. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gJ4Rin9dqo
  14. If you're going to camp, try Ginnie Springs in the Town of High Springs, FL. Gorgeous. A little warm this time of year...
  15. good? yes... not as good as ironman though
  16. Im encouraged a young whipper snapper like Nate is even interested in what goes on in there. Honestly I haven;t see any real personal attacks, and isnt that one of the rules anyhow? Let him join. He can bail if it doesnt appeal to him later. Just cause he can go in doesnt mean he will.
  17. http://harrypotter.warnerbros.com/harrypot...site/index.html Can't wait
  18. Saw it with my teen boys and wife. Pretty good. Worth the matinee price. No twists in the plot at all but the story was well paced and some of the camera shots were very cool ( i like that kind of stuff).
  19. Very sad. I'm sure both journalists will be missed many
  20. QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Apr 20 2011, 08:47 AM) i like acoustic pieces but on the time machine tour i was really hoping he was going to pull out broon's bane. Broon's Bane is one of my single, all-time, favorite, pieces of music. L-O-V-E it.
  21. QUOTE (briremo @ Apr 20 2011, 02:39 PM) Incredible videos. I'm getting me one of them thar cameras! Watching this video and many others has given me pause however because I'm wondering how the DVD is going to look with the film crew's cameras looking at the crowd and hundreds of mini camcorders looking back at them. LOL! no working man? WHen I saw them on the last date of the 2010 tour Alex was on fire!
