I loved it. I think it's one of the years best movies. Then again I usually don't share the same taste in movies as everyone else. Idk about it being academy award worthy, though I'd certainly like to see Jesse Eisenberg win something at some point in his career, as I think he's one of Hollywood's finest young actors right now.

QUOTE (PhilCastro @ Oct 8 2010, 11:49 AM) QUOTE (tangy @ Oct 8 2010, 02:35 PM) QUOTE (PhilCastro @ Oct 8 2010, 01:27 PM) QUOTE (tangy @ Oct 8 2010, 02:17 PM) too bad MP did not heed your earlier suggestion and step back from the computer. that shit that went down on blabbermouth is pretty unfortunate IMO. what happened? a forumer posted an open letter to MP, which MP quoted extensively and countered/retaliated back. this post was put up on blabbermouth and somewhat sensationalized. the MP forum the last few days has had numerous threads deleted all of which happened after the labrie interview. the first to go was the labrie tour dates thread..... http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...wsitemID=147319 Wow... this is starting to get out of control. Too much drama... it is what it is and everyone just needs to move on. Fans included. This just getting stupid and blown way out of proportion. I don't know what people expect. For DT to pack it up and be done cause he quit or for MP and the rest of the guys to reconcile and everything be sunshine and roses. Of course they're gonna move on, countless bands have made memorable albums after certain members of the group have left. I'm over this boohooing. Good for DT for auditioning new drummers and moving in the direction of getting the next album out there.

Woot! I too passed it up at the ABQ show and would love this poster.

In that order Never got to see DT live. I'm so upset. It will never be the same without MP. If he ends up joining A7X for good. I'm gonna be really pissed...and I was gonna go see them to see Portnoy play for the first time. Not no more.

I still would like to see the Biggs/Anchorhead scenes put back into Episode IV. Maybe it will actually happen now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zkvkgwMW0w&feature=related

QUOTE (Arndrake @ Feb 11 2008, 10:08 AM) QUOTE (workingcinderellaman @ Feb 11 2008, 09:05 AM)I liked him. remember that T.V. series about the submarine that he was in? Yep, it was called Seaquest DSV. I loved the first season. The second season was ok, but then he was replaced as captain by Michael Ironside in the third season and the series died. I remember hearing his guest role as the Russian mobster on Third Watch was quite good. Ahh, Seaquest DSV. Definitely one of the most underrated shows of the 90s imo. I remember many nights watching it before bed, definitely a sad little boy when it was ultimately canceled.
