  1. What about the epic “where do Lorraine go?” thread?
  2. I see your point but their race does play a big part in it. If this was just two random white metal heads talking about these songs, I don't think it would be aware near as interesting. But two black guys whose main genre is hip hop with very little metal exposure analyzing metal songs they're hearing for the first time does have an appeal. But what I wanna know is who are the idiots that suggested to them that Caught In A Mosh should be the Anthrax song they should listen to? Nothing against it but there's plenty of better classic Anthrax that fans could have suggested. You failed to comprehend the point. They DONT NORMALLY LISTEN TO METAL so two white metal heads dont compare to these guys since they would already know and be fans. The whole point is that they don’t really know the music and it’s a pure reaction. You can find two old white guys that still listen to Sinatra and get their pure reactions as well. These guys are good because of their personalities and their insightful comments and obvious love of music that makes you feel something. So, the thing that makes it work is them not the fact that they’re black but that they have something to say. I’ve been following them for some time, btw.
  3. Btw, they’re not worth watching because they’re “two black guys” but two smart guys that are open minded but don’t normally listen to metal music. Being Black really has nothing to do with it.
  4. I am subscribed to their channel. Very entertaining and interesting analysis.
  5. Their music is obviously very influenced by rock, jazz, and r&b and can give an impression of being haughty. However, their lyrics are totally subversive and these guys have a very against the grain way of doing things. Seems right up your alley really. I love everything about them and they are one of my favorite bands.
  6. I tried watching that but didn’t make it far. Surprising how bad Chris Jericho is as a host since he’s good on the mic during wrestling promos. Who was the female singing duet with halford at beginning? Her voice was weird at lower pitches but really good singing higher
  7. What did he say that makes you think it’s not because of Neil?
  8. Hopefully he laid to rest anyone’s hopes of a reunion tour. He’s not even releasing his book for a year. If anything, it sounds like he will record something but not as rush. I enjoyed the history of his family. Although, I knew most of the info it was still powerful to hear.
  9. PLEASE DON'T SPOIL ANYTHING!!! How is me telling you the last 10-15 minutes is worth viewing a spoiler? I can’t control anyone else in this thread so I would advise you to stay out of it. I have posted no spoilers.
  10. The last 10-15 minutes of the interview is must viewing.
  11. The part about his first band being called Dusty Coconuts was new to me. That’s true. Spoilers!!
  12. So far it’s interesting but I haven’t heard anything new. It is good to hear it straight from him.
  13. Didacts and narpets seems appropriate. Don’t fret too much. No one will remember it
  14. I only just wat he’s season 1 a couple months back. I’m interested but wonder if lightning can strike twice in this case
  15. I haven’t met enough men to make this determination.
  16. The premise of this seems to be “what do you think of his voice lately?” No one knows what it sounds like. Hasn’t sang live in over 2 years.
  17. I thought some had already at past Rush gigs Sounds more like a dread pirate Roberts scenario to me. Every time another treeduck wants to move on the current one trains someone on loving the saints, Judas Priest, big hair, and pretending Rush is metal while the old one rejoins modern society.
  18. Sounds like they were told they needed one more song quickly to fill out the cd and put this piece of crap together
  19. Cool. Someone should meeet treeduck to see if he’s real.
  20. I see a lot of intentional penises in this thread. Misleading title.
  21. I thought about him, I just didn't expect anyone would vote for him. I made sure Edward G Robinson was in though. Why would you think that? Bogie is among the top 25 actors in history. Hell, some sites have him ranked in the top 10. What does Edward G have to do with Bogie? Same era, both known for being in gangster films and they starred together in Key Largo, Brother Orchid, Bullets or Ballots, Kid Galahad and Dr Clitterhouse. Bogie is my fave of all time. Not sure why you wouldn’t think he would get votes.
  22. I posted the question but made no assumptions. I’m still curious even though I haven’t seen any real answers to that, just the usual arguing
