  1. Yes I listen to boygenius and Julien Baker. I enjoy them all very much.
  2. susanne sundfør - "blomi" love it! The romance and life force of 1970s singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro and Carole King – as well as their burned-fingers wisdom – are embodied here by Susanne Sundfør, one of Norway’s most successful singers who continues to evolve her craft upwards from her earlier synthwave and pop-folk. Susanne Sundfør: Blómi album artwork There’s also a touch of Disney or musical theatre to the way ballads such as Ashera’s Song and Rūnā search out their next cadences; the latter has the same tentative-then-certain feeling as Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah but done with a Julie Andrews-ish positivity. You may need to re-notch your threshold for corniness.
  3. The vast majority of the members don't seem to mind: Mind you, the uproar is coming from a select few; a majority of The Grange members seem content with the tournament returning. The Advertiser reported the results of a club survey that say 86 percent of members were “satisfied or very satisfied” with the event and 7 percent were neutral. An additional 7 percent of the members polled were “dissatisfied or very dissatisfied”.
  4. It's not dumb. EVH was groundbreaking but too one dimensional. This album is lazy other than a few songs. Nothing is as dumb as your Kinks' comments though.
  5. Fair Warning is good. It seems to be loved by VH fanboys, but it's not that interesting, other than a few songs.
  6. The only great VH album. The rest range from good - very good.
  7. I think that "Arthur" is just as great as any Beatles album.
  8. Too bad Teddy is such a f***ing asshole, because this album is fantastic rock and roll
  9. I did a quick listen to the album and it sounds intriguing. Will give it a proper listen to soon.
