I'll never forget when you played the medley on your radio show. It was great, and to this day I so deeply appreciate it. Goobs, I hope you like the video which now accompanies the audio. I tried to synchronize the images with the music and bring visuals to the song transitions. I think it came out rather well. There's a section of Analog Kid where you always come to mind. I think you'll know what I mean when see it. :cheers:

I don't think anyone now thinks the RRHOF is the arbiter of quality music just because of the inclusion of Rush. Most of us are just happy they're finally getting the recognition they deserve from what is perceived by many to be such an authority, even though we think otherwise. Absolutely. I am one who complains that RRHOF is flawed, but I'm still happy to see my guys get their due. Same here. I have voiced the opinion for a long time that the RRHOF is flawed and their purposeful 'exclusions' from the hall is what erased their own credibility with me. But if Rush is happy for the induction, then I'm happy for them. I'm also happy that their name will be given more acceptance to those who look to the RRHOF as a shrine for greatness in music. It might mean the world to them to see Rush's kimonos hanging next to something from Blondie or The Beastie Boys. But does it mean anything to me personally? No. Not really.

While I'm a member of the "I don't care" club, I'm happy about this for two reasons. First, it gives them credibility and visibility to everyone else who may visit the HOF and or care about this kind of thing, and second, if Rush is happy about this then I am very happy for Rush. Choosing a skin from the bottom left pulldown menu should be permanent until you change it again. When you see it go back to the burgundy, is that the skin that's checked off when you go back to the menu? Or is the Blue & Grey still checked? LIX, when you leave the page does it log you out? The default will always be burgundy when you're not logged in. That's what happens to me.
