  1. I've been told that Nickleback are huge RUSH fans. Hey! Whaddya expect from another Canadian band?! Three Doors Down is another band that are big RUSH fans as well. Afterall, Alex produced (at least) their 1st album. I also think it's safe to assume that just about every Canadian rock & pop artist is a RUSH fan. "Our Boys" have influenced so many of them over the years.
  2. ALL OF THEM! PERIOD! END OF SUBJECT! NO MORE ROOM FOR DISCUSSION! SO THERE!
  3. Grace To Grace was the best song with Present Tense a close 2nd.
  4. There is absolutely no question about it...Different Stages. Because: 1) Full version live of 2112 2) It was mostly recorded in Chicago
  5. The reason why I picked Vapor Trails is because it helped me get through a very long, expensive & nasty divorce. Every time I played it I thought of how fortunate I was under the circumstances as compared to Neil who lost his entire family. I highly recommend reading Ghost Rider to anyone and everyone who hasn't yet. Always remember Jackie & Celina while being happy for Neil & Carrie today.
  6. Crossroads because of the power or 3!
  7. This is my favourite (Yeah, it's the damn yankee again) RUSH LP because it helped me get through a very long, expensive & nasty divorce. Whenever I hear it, I think of Neil & his book Ghost Rider. IF YOU HAVEN"T READ IT, DO SO! I'm picking 2 from this one. 1) One Little Victory because that's what each day brings. 2) Out Of The Cradle because of all the inner people I had at the time just like Neil
  8. Probably the most underrated RUSH LP. I like Carve Away The Stone because "If you could just move yours, I could get working on my own".
  9. Cut To The Chase without a doubt. Because some people just don't know how to KISS (Keep It Simple Stoopid)!
  10. What an LP! But, I'm going with The Big Wheel here. Great harmonies on the refrain.
  11. Presto is my 2nd favourite (there we go again) RUSH LP. I'm going with Hand Over Fist on this one because sometimes it is harder to open up to certain people.
  12. Time Stand Still is probably one of their top 5 songs all together. Why is it my favourite (again, yankee spelling HAH!), because we're all getting older & it would be nice every now & then to have time slow down or "stand still".
  13. Territories, because someday I'd like to get to the Middle Kingdom!
  14. Kid Gloves because it puts me in a good mood! So, there!
  15. Countdown handsdown! Remembering the ones we lost a couple of years ago on Columbia! Enough said.
  16. Being from Lansing, Michigan, this LP has a special place in my heart too. Geddy bought his Fender Jazz Bass at a pawn shop called Dicker & Deal for a whopping $200. I like The Camera Eye because of the differences yet familiarities we have as human beings.
  17. Ah, I remember this LP! It had just been delivered to the record store & they hadn't even opened up the boxes yet & I grabbed the 1st copy. I'm going with The Spirit Of Radio on this one, because that's where the "real" fun began.
  18. This one's a toughy, but I'm going with Circumstances. Afterall, "the more that things change, the more they stay the same".
  19. I'm going with the flow on this one & agreeing that Xanadu is the best. What a cool story!
  20. I'm "Elevating from the norm" on this one & going with Lessons. Again, it showed their diversity in their writing capability.
  21. I'm going with Lakeside Park on this one. I loved the way Neil described his "growing up" memories.
  22. I have to go with 2 on this one: 1) Fly By Night, because it was written where I lived at the time...Lansing, Michigan. 2) In The End, because it was the beginning signs of their diversity in writing.
  23. It may not have been the best song on the LP, but my favourite (pretty good spelling for a "damn" yankee) was In The Mood. Because it was the 1st Rush song I heard on the Radio way back in the beginning, 1974 in Lansing, Michigan. They played this one instead of Working Man. Guess what boys & girls. I've been hooked ever since.
  24. Speaking as a guy, let me start off by quote Mr. Milton Banana..."You and I, were are strangers by one chromosome"... One thing men & women do have in common though.... Regardless of gender, we can't live with them & we can't live without them, so go figure!!!!!
  25. Personally, I think Rivendell was the only bad song "Our Boys" ever wrote. We all have diferrent opinions. Some songs not as good as others. This is mine & I'm sticking with it.
