  1. Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember that. Then I guess he just drives Carrie nuts. ;) I guess he's too cool for a trike. My neighbor is a vet and he has one. He had been in the Navy and slipped and fell on a ship and really messed up his neck/back area. It's the only motorcycle he can handle. I think Neil ought to get one of those bikes with a side car. Neil might actually start touring again with that thing, He'd shatter his old record for leaving the stage after the show in that thing. LOLOLOL...That is funny as hell... :laughing guy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy:

  3. Nah... I would think he would be playing......
  4. And he's letting people stay in his hotels for free as long as when they thank God for his generosity they understand good and well that God had nothing to do with it. LMFAO... :laughing guy: :rush:
  5. I agree - those old buildings were old but they were fun. And look at that ornate trimming around the windows - that's what I love about old buildings - they were built to be pleasing to the eye most of the time. I wonder if it is still there? Wikipedia... Saw another photo taken in 2018 ...It's still there
  6. That is Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TY :rush:
  7. I feel as if I've been pummeled about my head and shoulders after reading through your post Earl... ;) Oh yeah...I'm curious about that magical clit you mentioned... I know what comes out of the magic lamp when you rub it...Perhaps you could elaborate??? :rush:
  8. Go directly to jail Do not pass Go Do not collect £200 :laughing guy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy:
  9. Sorry Babycat, it took me a little while to figure out what you were talking about and then I realized that my title might lead people to believe that I meant Neil was back playing the drums. I came up with a few other titles for this thread that might be less confusing: - Neil is back in the game!!! - Neil was almost bankrupt and needed to take out a mortgage on his house. - Neil went to jail. lmao :laughing guy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy:
  10. I heard he played Monopoly until he landed on the Luxury Tax... Then he got pissed and quit
  11. Maybe put, let's see... three from Caravan, The Wreckers, Different Strings, Subdivisions, Limelight, Vital Signs or Witch Hunt next to Vapor Trails, see if anyone notices :eyeroll: LMAO... That right there is FUNNY! :laughing guy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy: I certainly notice. TBH I can't narrow it down to just 3 favourites off VT! Well, for me at least, I have a hard time narrowing it down to even 1 song from VT that I like even a little bit... Different strokes... :rush:
  12. " I swear to god, Dirk....Go ahead and tell me to turn down my guitar just ONE MORE TIME..."

  14. Cool... What's the story behind this one?

Let me get back to you on this one... Snakes and Arrows: Working them Angels, Bravest Face, Hope Clockwork Angels: Headlong Flight, The Garden, BU2B
  16. Hemispheres Is 11, Anthem hot on its heels. The outro of The Necromancer just sneaked it and the nostalgia of Headlong Flight, I love, over the power of Anthem. (Oh yeah, I just bought ATWAS - it's in the post). Honestly, it is almost a futile endeavor to try and name one's top 10 Rush songs because no matter which ones make the cut there are always 10 more (or twenty) that you realize should be in your top ten. ATWAS... Super acquisition ! :rush: I was making a Best of Rush playlist on my phone to listen to at work, but it ended up at 142 songs - covering all moods I may experience at work! - so I'm not a great culler of songs either... 142 songs...WOW! But, you're right; They have so many great songs. I walk for an hour every morning at 5 AM and I never listen to anything but Rush on my walk. There is not a single other band I could do the same with everyday, day in and day out. I never tire of Rush's music.
  17. Rush – Finding My Way Fly By Night – Anthem Caress of Steel – The Fountain of Lamneth 2112 – 2112 A Farewell to Kings – Xanadu Hemispheres -Cygnus X-1 Book II:Hemispheres Permanent Waves – Natural Science Moving Pictures – Red Barchetta Signals – The Analog Kid Grace Under Pressure – The Body Electric Power Windows – The Big Money Hold Your Fire – Second Nature Presto – Show Don't Tell Roll the Bones – Bravado Counterparts – Alien Shore Test For Echo – Virtuality Vapor Trails – The Stars Look Down Snakes & Arrows – Workin' Them Angels Clockwork Angels – Headlong Flight
  18. Cool list but....I guess Rush ceased to be great after PeW? They remained one of the greatest bands, if not the greatest band, ever (imo) after Permanent Waves until their retirement. I simply prefer their music from Rush thru Permanent Waves.

  20. Great to see Beneath, Between & Behind - that's one that seems to go unnoticed, unfairly Had it made it on All The World's A Stage instead of Exit Stage Left, I think it's place in Rush history would be a little different Wow, you've hit the proverbial nail on the head... My love for By-Tor and the Snow Dog was elevated appreciably by its inclusion on ATWAS... That is a masterful observation....
  21. 10. The Necromancer 9. Natural Science 8. By-Tor and the Snow Dog 7. The Fountain of Lamneth 6. La Villa Strangiato 5. Anthem 4. Cygnus X-1 Book I: The Voyage 3. 2112 2. Xanadu 1. Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres
  22. I like your list.... If you replaced 7,8,9 and 10 with 15, 16, 17 and 18, I would love it...
  23. Circumstances and Headlong Flight were at the outer edge of my list... :/ According to my list, Rush made no notable records after 1981 except for Clockwork Angels. Harsh! But I have to get to 20odd before I'm needing Signals and more Clockwork. Quite a high number before I need Presto... I agree that 1981 was a tipping point for the band... I was still a huge fan, just not wholly enamored with what they were putting out... CP was the first post-81 album that I really began to like and after that, CA is their best imo... I could listen to Headlong Flight on a loop...
