  1. Are killing me. If I don't get a leak within the next 24 hours, I'm gonna ****ing SNAP. Not to mention the constant posting in said topics, which keep me constantly checking and reading them, only to have to read drivel, which at times is comical......but NEVERTHELESS. It's just an insanity test and I'm losing it. And now im contributing by starting another leak related topic among the 5 or more that are already being posted in. See what you've done? *smh*
  2. ugh..that group coming to the surface of mankind made it uncool to lmao on forums anymore...
  3. QUOTE (Godeater2112 @ Jun 2 2012, 02:57 PM) QUOTE (UltimoGuitarist @ Jun 2 2012, 02:56 PM) Use google chrome when youre on those german websites. You have the option to translate the entire page to english. GORGEOUS You knew that so you can read it in English and you probably noticed that YES they get mail on Caturdays and still you made that other thread? Don't get cute....butyes. LOL

  5. QUOTE (metaldad @ Jun 2 2012, 02:46 PM) We get mail on sat in the u.s. Well that's BI ZARRE. Canada only gets mail mon-fri. I assumed that was commonplace worldwide.
  6. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jun 2 2012, 02:46 PM) My thoughts were that if it really is ONE GUY who received it, and people know who he is, he won't post it online because then everyone (including the record company) will know it was him and come down on him somehow. Where's the like button at...
  7. Hmmm interesting. WELP! That solves that mystery. LOL
  8. I'm almost willing to put money on the fact that a leak WILLKNOT surface today, or tomorrow for that matter. Want to know why I know this? Think about it. Reports say that some people in Germany have received their fan packs, correct? Well, that being said, they would have actually received them yesterday, not today. Mail doesn't arrive on weekends, unless the Germany is weird and they do get mail on Saturday for some reason, but nevertheless. If it wasn't uploaded yesterday, and still isn't by our current time today, odds are we're not gonna see it tomorrow either. If I'm wrong hey, I'm not gonna be too upset about it. I WANT it to surface, but just so everyone doesn't have their hopes up for disappointment, theres a little dose of reality for ya. EDIT: LOL...."the Germany"
  9. Oh cmon. Sure that was annoying as hell but it was all in good fun. Learn to take a joke.
  10. QUOTE (beherit @ Jun 1 2012, 05:22 PM) new melvins leaked LMAO
  11. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jun 2 2012, 01:08 PM) I have it. And by "it," I mean that special something... Hey now NO MESSIN AROUND!
  12. Are you talking about Scars of pleasure or Scars of pain?
  13. Yeah I saw that news too. I'm gonna be searching the webs all day for a leak. I can't wait anymore.
  14. The high hatting sounds different. Listen carefully. It's got more of a whisp to it.
  15. Most obvious choice of all time. COUNTDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scorching blast! of golden fireeee As it slowly leaves the ground Tearrrrs away with a mIIIghty forccccce The air is shattered by the awesome sound BOOOOOM!!!!!! *keys own your face right off and lifeson tears shit up*
  16. QUOTE (Deckiller @ Jun 1 2012, 09:17 PM) Caravan: Ooh I hear slight differences! THANK. YOU. You have no idea how many people have argued me on that. You'd have to be an idiot not to notice the difference in that intro.
  17. As far as im concerned, if I always liked the material they came out with right away, that would mean that its just your usual already known sound. I like Rush for the reason that I'm not always on board with their new material at first, but I keep an open mind, and eventually, I become obsessed with it!
  18. Geddy has been talking about doing an episode of hoarders because of all his baseball memorabilia. Apparently they want him to throw all that SHIT out.
  19. How do you figure Cinderella Man would be boring live? That super is super upbeat and fast at times. Has a great bridge and solo. Idk I think if you want to be realistic and say, AFTK and Cygnus are out, sure, but Cinderella man would be a great one to pull out of the vault.
  20. I don't know about you guys but it usually takes me quite awhile to get into a new rush record. Being originally exposed to the 70's material when I was about 14, and then eventually hearing the 80's material (AND HATING IT ORIGINALLY) then the 90's, and the 00's (which I also avoided) I eventually came around on the 80's material and now it's my favorite Rush decade of music. I'm obsessed with signals to hold your fire. I still never really got into Vapor Trails. Snakes & Arrows took me a good month to come around on all the songs actually (besides Far Cry and Mal Nar which were instant classics for me) As far as Clockwork Angels so far, Caravan is a ****ing masterpiece. Probably in my top 3 for all time favorite Rush songs. Everything about it just screams major friggin talent and excellence. BU2B took a good while to grow on me, and I love it now. HLF took about 12 listens and I eventually got it. For me though, HLF would actually have worked better had it been released with a 70's sound quality, like if they had put it on Caress Of Steel? Beautiful. It doesn't work AS well with todays sound technology. It's too much of a simple riff and kinda laid back in the skill department, which is fine...I mean I love the song, I just think it would have sounded better if it had been more raunchy like Bastille Day. It's a little too pretty if you catch my drift. EDIT: Again, Caravan was instant pwnage. First listen and I was getting mindblown the entire time. I'm a skill-a-holic so I love excellent playing. Also a huge Dream Theater fan so thats why.
  21. QUOTE (beherit @ May 29 2012, 07:39 PM) Yeah, seriously, no more dumbass videos. They're cute and all, but I could be hearing songs instead. I'd rather hear Dog Years than see Alex eat sausage. LMAO! You sure you want to stick with that statement? Lol. Dog Years....*shudders* Anyway, I happen to love the stupid little shorts they do these days. Being a fairly new Rush goer I guess I never had the opportunity to witness the trippy days (my first show was R30) so I don't know what that's like. Having said that, the intro to Witch Hunt on the Grace Under Pressure DVD was friggin fantastic. Something like that as an opener for the SHOW would be amazing. But yeah, I'm cool with the videos they do. I think it shows off an acting side for them, and they have fun doing it and it keeps them interested in touring and keeps things fresh and whatnot, so why begrudge them of it? *shrug* Rush needs to have some fun too. Being a musician myself, I know what it's like to just play a song over and over without adding any new elements to a song or spice it up a bit, because of the hard paying fan that wants it FLAWLESS and perfect and no different than it sounds on record. But in my honest opinion? That's turbo boring. I'd like to sometime play because I enjoy it, not because the viewer does. I'm sure 40 years later, Rush have that same outlook, if not entirely, then at least a little.
  22. Why are there so many votes for Xanadu? I mean, I love Xanadu just as much as the next Rush fanatic, but why not something more rare? Cinderella Man or Cygnus X-1 in full ftw people.
  23. QUOTE (Spike @ Jan 21 2005, 11:07 PM) Mine used to be ESL. Now it's RIR. The mixing s*cks on it - but I like the newer music (heavier, more bass!), so I keep listening to RiR. Silly girl. The bass in all of the pre 1990 albums was much more complicated and interesting back then then now. Geddy pretty much just does straight forward boring stuff nowadays because he seems to focus on his vocals a bit more. The only reason you find the bass heavier now is because of production and quality of recording today. If they had the technology back then, i'm sure geddy would have been just as heavy/heavier back in the early days as well.
