Well, not a "concert" per se, but GEDDY on 11/13 at the Beacon, which kicks off the tour! So excited it's so soon, I was thinking it would be after the UK run but maybe they had to confirm the dates after post-season baseball was more straightened out, lol.

I went last year. Fun time! Not a huge fan of cover/tribute bands, regardless of talent level and who they're playing, but it was nice to hear the music again and be in a theater with fans again! And of course, the cause for it in the first place and who it benefits. So, going again this year, too.

Wow, I'm on the next presale and there is slim pickings, there's the normal ridiculous platinum seats up close but otherwise it's mostly balcony and loge, but even that is not much. For all the people that were grousing about just a spoken word tour, I guess the rest of the fans just don't care!!

My Facebook memories of the Dave Grohl tour at the Beacon in 2021 came up today. THAT was an amazing show. He played a few songs and then played along to his younger self on the kit on Smells Like Teen Spirit. I wasn't expecting the music, so that was really cool. But the rest of it was just as great. But boy does he curse a lot, lol.

Or George Strombo maybe.

doubt it, but then again Bono sang at his and Dave Grohl played and sang at theirs, so who knows. but i'm not expecting it.

i'm going to put my Row P orchestra Beacon on tickpick. Since it looks like nobody is interested here.

So I went back in and got a better seat. So if anyone is trying, keep trying. It's annoying AF.

I don't know WHAT the fork that was, but what a shitshow. Was waiting beforehand, but no notice of waiting room. Then at 10, it started saying soon, which went on for 10 minutes. Then it said it's your turn...and then it sent me out. I had to to go back in and then by then...mostly everything was gone. Got one in Row P orchestra, but that was all just weird. Tried on my phone too, the Queue did show up, waited, said it was my turn and same thing, just showed the screen with the presale times!!
