THe live dvds/blu rays cant do them justice. theres nothing like seeing this band up close and in person can justify them. For all those who say they suck see em live, then tell me what you think.?

nappy, yes, it could have been better. I would have liked it to have more of geddys banter between songs, and instead of la villa, replace with limelight and vital signs.. and fade outs and fade ins only on side changes.

its funny, most people who talked about rush on BTLS, seemed to only like and know the older stuff they grew up with.. They were done with them by 1982, if that.

To me, exit could have been better, I wore it out in its day, but it needed to feel more like a live album.

Would you rather have a new cd ,or a unreleased 1980 complete live show with the same quality as passage to Bangkok from the deluxe version 2112?? I would pick the 80 show!!

I'am hoping for at least one clip soon from the 97 show.. Can't believe they sat on this for 17 years without relelasing it somehow.. Iam sure its better than the last 3 live shows they released on dvd.. Plus the band to me, looked and performed their best during this show..

I don't care to either, love his drumming and all, but i know a few people who have the chance of meeting him and claim he's very rude. I understand his shyness excuse, but come on, have a little respect. I heard somewhere that bono said he knows fans can be goofy and all, but they are who made him rich and hes very thankful for that.

Yes, the r30 blu-ray is excellent, it has a sharper picture and is the complete show. I also think its the better of the last 5 live shows they put out in terms of quality and performance. Geddy sounds very good on r30. Plus no 2 seconds camera shots and goofy audience shots..

I personally think diffrent stages sounded alot better than the last 5 relelases, although not complete, the R30 2 cds that came with deluxe version sounded really good.

The 97 footage looks great, Wonder why they just chose certain songs, quess they will put out whole show soon.
