  1. Agree w/ both comments so far. For the Baltimore show I got tix right away in row 1 of the second tier section directly across from the stage. That way you don't have to turn your head and there's zero chance of anyone sitting in front of you. Which show are you looking at? At the Charlotte show a friend of mine and one of his friends got tix at the arena about 30 min. prior to showtime in the first row of the top tier back corner that had opened up.
  2. HalfwayToGone will post a bunch. He bought a camera just for this show. He said he had a bunch after the show! BTW, great meeting all those from the forum here that went!!! Spectacular pre-show meet-ups!!
  3. I may have had my set-lists mixed up, but I thought that they played that C-list that they played in Houston, but they played Limelight and TSOR as Amy said, and Bravado, but they should have played Dreamline, which I was tremendously looking forward to, but they played Manhattan Project instead. So it wasn't the original A or B b/c Middletown Dreams and The Body Electric were replaced by Limelight. From the shows thru Baltimore, they only played this set in Vegas, Buffalo, and Nashville. Great show tho as usual!! There were a number of mistakes and miscues, one of which they were roaring about raucously onstage which made it all the more entertaining. Those have all become a part of the show tho, and they have had two weeks off since Helsinki.
  4. C1 row 14 seats 1/2 available for Hershey right now.
  5. I saw a B1 row 13 a few minutes ago. Gone now seemingly. Keep pluggin' if you're looking!!
  6. I include every instrumental that they've done; La Villa Strangiato, YYZ, Broon's Bane, Where's My Thing, Leave That Thing Alone, Limbo, The Main Monkey Business, Hope That'll save Geddy's voice in his increasing maturity.
  7. You can also get good tix from the boys out front, but that's a supply/demand thing too. Lots of people looking = higher prices and more than face. Fewer people looking means perhaps less than face. Also, they buy tix from people w/ extras going in for less than face value b/c fans want to go in and don't want to waste a lot of time trying to sell tix outside or they're afraid that something's going to happen, which it won't, but they don't know that. So if you want better prices start asking who's got extra tickets. You'll likely be challenged by some of the boys but many fans would prefer to sell to a true fan rather than the scalpers, and you're at an advantage there b/c you can pay more since they need to build in a margin. As everyone has said, it's a craps shoot. Keep looking long enough tho and your chances go up. Lots of times people w/ the better seats show up later. Also, at football games I buy a ticket(s) and then try to do better. I never pay face, so if I do better then I sell the first ones for a profit, I keep trying to upgrade and usually I'll get primo seats that end up costing me nothing for 60-90 min. worth of "work." I enjoy it tho and am comfortable doing that. The cops don't care btw. With all of the ticket outlets these days there's no way for anyone to know what the fees are and the worst thing that happens, if they even look your way, is that they'll tell you to move to a different location, so don't worry 'bout them.
  8. Most of the shows have not sold out. Here are the attendance stats; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clockwork_Angels_Tour
  9. ... let me know if interested. Section 120 first row. It's right above the penalty box apparently. For a single, probably about as good as anyone's going to get for now. I think it's $150.
  10. These are floor seats, row 9 I believe, B1, for $150 ea. It's a pair, but I only need one. Shoot me a PM if interested in the other. Issue resolved.
  11. I'm scrounging for a decent tic to the Hershey show, I just ran across one for Jones Beach on Craigslist, but I can't remember or find which one. It was a single that someone wanted to share b/c his/her second party scratched. If you can make Hershey and find a pair of good seats, I'll split w/ ya if I haven't found anything else by then.
  12. Tough call. Here are my first, in alphabetical order, but most of the others run close "seconds:" Clockwork Angels 2112 Hemispheres Moving Pictures Permanent Waves Signals
  13. I want Dreamline too, it's fantastic live.
  14. I'll take Limelight over TBE as well. Like 'em both, but I'd prefer Limelight.
  15. Likewise, I'm hoping for B since I saw A in Charlotte and MD. I'd like to hear Dreamline again. I also prefer Working Man to TSOR. I think I'm the only one in the forum tho that doesn't care for Middletown Dreams. LOL
  16. Now that the guys are on break after tonight's show wrapping up the Eurotour, anyone have any insight as to what the set-list will be for Hershey, the first show back here? I'm not sure that it's wise to assume that it would be a toggle from Helsinki tonight.
  17. Yes, it is really fantastic that they're still willing and able to go out on such extensive tours at this point in their lives/careers. The same goes for Yes. They even tour within a more tight schedule than Rush does. They're sometimes doing 5 shows per week. And they are even slightly older than this trio is. I'm ever so happy both bands are still out on the road! :cheerleader: I didn't know that about Yes. I know that Jon Andersen had some voice/throat issues or something. I'm not a huge fan, altho I wish I were, I do recognize that their music is outstanding. Great writing! Relayer is an excellent album altho I'm not a big fan of the style so I never owned it or care to listen to it. ... if that makes any sense. LOL It's like when I listen to it I listen to the technical aspects of it, not the entertainment aspects. Cool thing about Rush is that I do both. I do like Yes' later more pop-y stuff tho, oddly. I was just wondering what a quartet of Lee, Anderson, Roger Hodgson, and Rik Emmett would sound like. LOL
  18. Kerry Livgren, one of may favorite all-time leading guitarists and song writers had a stroke several years ago that has left him unable to play. He's about the same age as the trio. Can't take anything for granted. Many of the greats aren't even alive and died long before they ever hit 60. We can debate the reasons, but it's irrelevant. For these guys to be putting on the shows that they do at their age is flat out amazing. When one considers, as is my opinion, that the shows have improved over the years, it's even more astonishing.

  20. I think that the exit videos are merely designed to buy time so that they can escape w/o fans following them or people outside getting in their way out. IDK, then again, they have the cops.
  21. Exactly. And find for me a musician that makes no mistakes in three hours of live playing on a tour w/ what, 50+ venues, and I'll show you one that isn't really playing live.
  22. Oddly, I thought that he sounded at the top of his game in Baltimore, OK in Bristow, and OK in Charlotte too. My son who was with me at all three agreed. I attributed that to his vocal chords strengthening during the tour. Maybe the sound where one sits has something to do w/ it in a minor way. Bristow's acoustics aren't very good to begin with. Not big on the outdoor arena thing. As has already been expressed, the fact that they're still touring as they are should be considered short of a miracle in many ways; First, that the original (viable that is) trio is still even together. How many bands perform under a band name these days w/ only one or two original band members, and in some cases, like Journey, Boston, Foreigner, etc., not even w/ the original vocalist and many still not even w/ the same lead guitarist. Who cares who's on bass in most of those bands as just as with drums, unlike Rush, they're simply there for time-keeping. Secondly, that the overall shows, at least IMO, have improved and seem to keep improving. The strings addition is great. Maybe this is the band and its staff realizing that better shows hide some of the expected downturn in other areas. If so, great and insightful thinking. Thirdly, that they're even still touring and enjoy it. Their interaction w/ the audience is sincere and it really heightens the experience. How many bands have we all seen at one point or another that used to be among our favorites, but then went to "one show too many" and had it ruin our memories of a good band. Not so here, eh. Fourth, IMO the renditions of their songs have gotten "less live sounding" in a good way. ... if that makes any sense. Fifth, how many bands their age and w/ their history, or a fraction of it, are still putting out relevant albums? I don't know of one. Granted, not too many bands can claim their history, but still, you get the point. CA's is arguably their best album as albums go. 2112 and Moving Pics are also contenders, but in different ways. This one really showed off the creative side of the band again and in different ways. Here's hopin' that they do one more tour. I do think that they need to include every single instrumental tune on their next tour tho, which would help Geddy. Every one of the instrumentals tunes that I'm aware of is fantastic in its own right anyway. The obvious ones are LS and YYZ, the next ones are TMMB, Leave that Thing Alone, and Where's My Thing, and then there are Broon's Bane, Limbo, and Hope. All excellent. We can all make our preferred set-lists otherwise, but most of us would go see a show of 15 tunes for two hours just to see them play.
