  1. I only want to hear one and I'd be happy. CUT TO THE CHASE. One of my all time favs and a killer solo. :codger:
  2. I'm a huge fan of Counterparts and thought some of their albums after that were lacking a bit. S&A was good but CA is the best since Counterparts.
  3. 1. How do you feel about the Clockwork Angels album? Be as specific as possible. One of their better albums. I'D list is as one of the top 10. 2. How does it compare to other RUSH albums? Better than some, very jazzy quality. 3. Thoughts or wishes for tour? Cut to the Chase, Losing It 4. How much CA on tour? Most of the songs, less 3-4. 5. Any other comments. RUSH will just keep going for many more years.
  4. At this time it is anybody's guess what songs will be left out. Of course we want them all but that won't happen. I'd be okay without Halo Effect, Wish Them Well.
  5. You know you're a RUSH fan when: 1-Your computer logins, passwords, etc all have to do with RUSH 2-You're wife gets tired of listening to RUSH in the car and looks for another CD, only to find nothing but other RUSH CD's. 3-You wash your RUSH t-shirts on the gentle cycle because you've had them for 20-30 years (literally!).
  6. For me NP is definitely at the top of MY favorite drummers. However I am and old time rocker from the 70's-80's and probably my favorite hands down is Phil Ehart of Kansas. I saw them in concert as many times as Rush and also have all their albums. The earliest stuff was the best. Phil was the smoothest drummer I have ever seen and made it seem so effortless. His solos ranked right up with NP. I even give him the edge as far as his snare play goes.
  7. I'm guessing there will be 3 or 4 songs they play with the strings (probably one after the other) and then they will gracefully fade away. (or maybe they will blow them up!)
  8. I gave it an 8. It took me a few listens through to really like it and truly love some of the songs. I ranks it as one of their top albums.
  9. 1977-Rush and BOC (Blue Oyster Cult). Rush was the opening act and BOC couldn't compare. They were good but Rush was better and rocked the house out.
