  1. This show asks more 'morality' questions than anything I've ever seen on the tube...Euthanasia and such, just this last go 'round...In which circumstances is 'murder' permissible...If one person's existence jeopardizes the continued existence of the group, should that person be terminated?...If someone is suffering extensibly, can they be put out of their misery?...Wow, this is even heavier subject matter than that 'very special episode' of Diff'rent Strokes...
  2. This TAAB '2' isn't really a real thing to, is it? Ian Anderson's voice NOW is simply the worst thing one can do to their ears...
  3. Ya know what ticks me off a tad about this guy's live set...He put out two DVDs in the last five years...Neither apportioned any room to his 1978 or 1984 solo discs...The self-titled '78 release is basically a Floyd release, gosh darnit...I'm so sick of seeing him take the stage and go through Time and Money once more...Aren't these artists aware that a fan has a much more thorough knowledge of the repertoire than just the hits?...
  4. These guys were so so necessary...Everything about them screams real-deal 70's Hard Rock outfit...All the songs have some kind of memorable quality to them... I kinda got into Glenn Hughes right around the time of 2005's Iommi/Hughes...His comeback solo venture - 'Soul Mover' came out right around this time as well...Those two outings had me sold on the guy... Then, a few years back I went and discovered all the Deep Purple stuff that he was involved in...Turns out, this guy is as BIG as they come...Too bad that his career had so many bumps in the road and missing years due to his overarching cocaine problem... I just recently got Deep Purple - Phoenix Rising DVD, along with the Black Country Communion - Live Over Europed DVD...
  5. Who's going to that NYC show in April with Mastodon/Opeth/Ghost? That sounds like a lineup I'd catch from start to finish...
  6. Could have been funny...But, instead it was as stuffy as the big screen version of Atlas Shrugged...
  7. I put this disc on main nights just before lights out...Very good album to read and fall asleep to...I like the fact that this direction is completely different than his writing for PT...The new Opeth is similiar in some respects to what Wilson is doing here on GFD...And, the forthcoming Wilson/Akerfeldt collab will be in the same vein, I think...
  8. Hopefully... Iced Earth/Symphony X Mastodon/Opeth/Ghost
  9. Is this recording really going to happen sometime soon? And, can we expect more of the same from that Caravan/BU2B single? If that's the musical direction this band's taking, then sign me up for instant enrollment in a series of Summer concerts...Me likey.
