  1. Already 2 threads in the Rush section (you know, since it's Rush related)
  2. http://youtube.com/watch?v=COqbxjOJCCA One of the funnier things I've heard in awhile.
  3. QUOTE (mortkort @ Nov 25 2006, 09:53 PM) IMO the bond movies is just boring.... See this one. By rule, I DETEST Bond movies, every one before this I haven't enjoyed. Not only did I enjoy this one, this will probably crack my top 20 films of this year (and as of right now, I've seen 132 this year. I do a yearly review for my school and local paper, so I need to keep a list).
  4. QUOTE (Necromancer @ Nov 25 2006, 08:07 PM) QUOTE (thestand @ Nov 25 2006, 07:56 PM) The better actor got the role, IMO. I'd take Sir Ian over Sean anyday. me too. it would be ludicrous to see Sean doing such a shit role.
  5. The better actor got the role, IMO. I'd take Sir Ian over Sean anyday.
  6. I just bought every single Moby CD at my local shop (not including repeats). So I can add him to the list.
  7. Moby- Play Moby- 18 Moby- Elevator Moby- Everything is Wrong Moby- Ambient Moby- Moby Moby- I Like to Score I'm a completionist, so since I had downloaded all of these, I finally got around to buying them.
  8. QUOTE (pedro2112 @ Nov 20 2006, 07:37 PM) For those that enjoyed this movie, I highly recommend two others... Momento and Primer. Thanks, you recommended Primer to me awhile ago, but I forgot the name. I'll have to check it out now.
  9. David Blaine's best- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhfjEkdtpwk *language*
  10. Also remember that the movie wouldn't have been made if Drew Barrymore didn't get her production company to pick it up.
  11. QUOTE (deadwing2112 @ Nov 18 2006, 10:06 PM) I wanna see it. Is the new Bond better then Pierce Bronsnan? Definitely. Peirce was a good actor, but not as Bond. This guy gets back to feeling like Bond, but making it his own. I think the Brosnan ones got too into being cheesy on purpose, and this cut all of that out.
  12. #1 movie of all time for me. Not joking. And to clarify, it's ahead of 300 other movies I have ranked.
  13. I can't stand the Bond series. That being said, this looks like it'll make my top 10 list of the year.
  14. This weeks episode was the best yet, IMO. And since this show has gotten so popular, it is almost guarunteed to be picked up for another season. The writers have said that if this happens, the NYC explosion will be solved this season, and next season will be different. He hasn't confirmed or denied if it will be the same characters.
  15. QUOTE i'm about a week behind, but i don't understand how niki's husband has 'powers' too did this occur during their fight? From what we're lead to believe, he had them before the fight. This is explained by when his son asked "how did you get out of jail?" He said "I just... kind of walked out." QUOTE and i noticed in the last episode i watched that her son has powers too now.... It seems that he either has the power to fix anything electronic, or maybe to control electricity. QUOTE and whee'd the drug addict go? i think i missed an epi.... I'm not sure how far behind you are, but right now, the drug addict was taken by the cheerleaders father and Mohinder's neighbor (the girl he hung around with). I won't tell you anything else, because if I did, it would completely change the plotline.
  16. QUOTE (Rush! @ Nov 10 2006, 11:26 PM) I've heard a lot of great things about this film. My Dad & I both want to see this badly. The naked wrestling scene will be pretty awkward with your dad with you, I'm thinking.
  17. Someone tell me I'm not crazy and reconfirm that there's a third villain in this. All of the pre-production info I got said- Green Goblin 2 Sandman Venom Topher Grace was in the trailer, but never became Venom. I'm hoping that's a twist they saved for the movie.
  18. Sascha Baron Cohen is most likely my favorite character actor today. The film is hilarious. And FYI, he just signed a 15 million dollar deal for a Bruno movie, the third and final character of Da Ali G show.
  19. Never cry, but I do find myself getting deeply emotionally attached every once in awhile, that will leave me unable to talk for awhile after viewing. And it's movies that you wouldn't think would do it... that do it. The last one I remember was the end of M. Night Shyamalan's "Lady in Water".
  20. With bad news comes VERY good news. I was checking for a status update on the show 20 Good Years, and not suprisingly, it's been cancelled. BUT! The 2 hour comedy block is BACK! Starting November 30th, the Thursday night NBC lineup will be- 8:00- My Name is Earl 8:30- The Office 9:00- Scrubs 9:30- 30 Rock Easily my 4 favorite comedies still in production, all in 2 glorious hours.
  21. There's definitely a car on a highway in LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring, when Sam and Frodo are walking through the cornfields.
  22. The best from Scorsese in awhile. Probably in my top 50.
