Farewell Tours are just a 'money making' gimmic. How can Rush just stop writing music ? Its a life times work and a lifetimes friendship. I would imagine it will take the unexpected death of one of the band which will bring an end to the greatest band ever to play on this planet !!

What somber feel ? Sounds pretty upbeat to me !!

Been dusting off the old albums and listening to 'Dumpys Rusty Nuts' double live album called 'Somewhere in England' !!!! Classic 'bikers' album How many Rush fans have even heard of Dumpy. -
I have a copy of 'Sad Wings of Destiny' on a picture disc. Awesooooome album. Saw Judas Priest in 1979 and 1980 at Newcastle City Hall UK. First saw Judas Priest when I went to buy my ticket for the Rush 'Hemispheres' tour only to find out it was sold out. Bought a Judas Priest ticket instead !! Great British Rock music. A must listen to album for Rush fans................

Rush - All The Worlds a Stage Scorpions - Tokyo Tapes Led Zepplin - The Song Remains the Same Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East For all rock fans raised in the 1970's, this was an era of great live albums. Music fans want to hear 'warts and all' live albums, don't touch up the bum notes and dodgy vocals !! -
QUOTE (RushRevisited @ Aug 23 2004, 10:46 PM) What do you think is the best song from this album? Time Stand Still Who can ever forget the vocals of Aimee Mann. I recall standing outside Wembley Arena listening to Rush soundcheck 'Time Stand Still'on their 'Hold Your Fire' tour. Unfortunately Aimee Mann did not appear with Rush. Now that would have been something!!
