  1. 'Plus Alex recently said in the July 2012 issue of Classic Rock magazine "we will be making albums until the day we die".' Loving that.....the evidence as they say is "in the pudding" of how much they love doing what they do.....just listen to the last 12 tracks released.....any questions? not I.
  2. QUOTE (Lost In Xanadu @ Jun 14 2012, 08:30 AM)QUOTE (lch6257 @ Jun 14 2012, 08:24 AM) QUOTE (KenJennings @ Jun 14 2012, 12:23 AM)With CA now front and center- I'm left wondering if the ride is over. Don't get me wrong, I'm greatful for every moment of it. If 'The Garden' is truly the last unique Rush song I will ever hear, I will be a satisfied man. I almost can't imagine a better way to end 'er. I'd love to hear more Rush. They're my heartfelt favorite band, but something is to be said for leaving on a high note. I know there's only three guys in the world who know if they're done, but I almost gotta hope this is the fitting end. Just too good. With the LEGIONS of fans that Rush has accumulated over their careers, I can not imagine that these gentlemen would walk away without at the least letting the fans know that this was their farewell and offering a last chance tour. It is possible, but IMHO, far fetched to think they just walk away after CA. If that is what they do, I will miss them and wish them well. Rush has a closer allegiance with there fans than just about any band that has ever taken the stage. Not buying it. Why would they NEED a new album to do a "farewell" tour? I don't think Rush seems like they type to do one of those anyways. "This is our last tour, soak it in, show us how much you love us" I hardly would equate a farewell tour to Rush asking for adoration from fans, but as a chance to part ways....and closure. Maybe I am wrong and they just walk away, if so, I would be sad to see em go, but they have left me a library of amazing tunes to enjoy for the rest of my days. I agree "The Garden" is the epitome of a swan song for the trio....Just believing that is not the case.... I like to believe they do what they love in their craft and will continue on as long as it still feels good and right to them. I know that I am much better at doing what I enjoy than what I have to do. If that is the case, then certainly CA is a statement of what a great place the current RUSH is in and we can expect many more years of goodness....

  4. A note to the band should they ever grace these boards with a look around or not..... Thank you Rush for providing us with decades of some of the most evolvling, thought provoking and outstanding music a fan base could ever want or expect!! I wish you all many, many, many more happy years of doing whatever you enjoy. You are masters at your craft and we,"the fans" are forever grateful. Clockwork Angels is a both a treasure and gift....Thank you again and again for making us all relive every bit of why we became and will always be Rush fans.
  5. Tried to get the price adjust from Amazon. No luck. Was told that I would not be able to receive the discount. Cancelled my order and moved it to Best Buy.
  6. The more I hear it, the more I love it. This is a fantastic Album!! What I read from the poster above really brings it to light by comparing CA to 2112. The maturity of it all hits a resounding note for this fan. When we are young we say screw it all to hell.....As we mature we begin to understand things in a new and different way and CA reflects a coneptual maturity that could only be offered from experience....INCREDIBLE work !! Can't wait to read the novel.....
  7. The Louisville show was amazing for sure. I totally agree the boys were on fire. I have been on a Rush Rock N Roll high all day. Geddy said at the end of the show to expect them back in town next summer. Can't wait for Clockwork Angels to drop and the next tour to pass through the Ville!! The Moving pictures play through was totally unbelievable. Surreal.
