You must have been wearing the hat in your avatar if you think that!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, but I could have done with some platform shoes to see what was going on. Geddy likes Faithless, he said so!
  2. Our tickets for Birmingham NEC were lost in the post. I contacted the Ticket Factory who sent me letter and asked me to present it to the box office on the day - which I did and they had the replacement tickets there waiting for us. Very efficient.
  3. Thought the boys were brilliant last night at the NEC, shame I can't say the same about the crowd. Three blokes near us spent all night talking through the show, what's the point of that? And Marathon is a classic in my book and overall the set was great, I for one don't want to hear all old stuff. The much derided Faithless was also brilliant.

    From RIAB

I buy the normal Classic Rock every month and think the spin offs (prog and now AOR - they featured every AOR band in history in the first issue, no idea what they'll put in the second) are a bit of a rip-off. They know that by sticking Rush and Journey on the cover fans will fork out for these additional mags. The Rush stuff will probably surface in the main magazine eventually anyway. The articles on Rush were ok but nothing special.
  5. QUOTE (IChoseFreeWill @ Apr 28 2011, 05:34 AM) Stick It Out seems to be the only Rush song that is an 8 in the Enneagram. And 8 is in the Reactive triad. But the song itself does have a positive message. Sounds amazing. What does it mean?
  6. QUOTE (Cosy Toes @ Apr 28 2011, 08:26 AM) Being as our favourite sociopathic attention whore doesn't like the general public impinging on his private life, why didn't he be like Thunderstick and perform in a mask? That way once off stage he could take off the mask and bask in his anonymity. Thunderstick even played in a cage - he put up a barrier to keep himself intact. http://www.bookofhours.net/samson/trappa.jpg I bet nobody here knows what Thunderstick (36th best drummer of all time) actually looks like Does his large moustache in the 70s count?
  7. Does anyone trust these wealth calculations? They're generally based on a lot of assumptions about career earnings, returns on investments, property values etc. I suspect they don't know how much a given celeb actually has in their bank account.

QUOTE (ak2112 @ Apr 21 2011, 12:47 AM) I have only been able to listen to the whole album once. To me it is painfully bad...their worst album easily. Unfocused and bad need of editing. S&A is leaps and bounds better and more melodic. I also disliked it on first listen; I now love it, I kept playing it and it grew and grew. Possibly the Rush album that requires the most listens?
