Moonraker
Personally, I never really was a fan of Krispy-Kreme donuts, way too soggy for my tastes. I dont like drippy donuts
neilpeart_gal
Me neither, Moonraker. You have to give them at least 30 mins to 'set up' before I like them.

I dont like drippy donuts yea me too! Calgary went nuts when KK came here!!! Midway Hawker
Yeah, it was like that when the first one opened up here in the Sacramento Area.. Now I drive by KK and there is no line and no one in the place. It's just another donut house. I think they expanded too quickly. Their stock hasn't been doing so great lately. I'll bet they are "cooking the books" along with the dough.
sfuentes
Krispy Kreme is going down, and very fast. They expanded much too quickly, as Earthshine stated above. Too quick of an expansion... Reminds me of what I used to do in Sim City 2000....

neilpeart_gal
I had Tim Horton's while I was in Toronto. Good but didn't knock my socks off. Best donuts I've ever had are Donutland. Iowa/Illinois residents will know all about Donutland. Sigh and

Drumnut
QUOTE (Earthshine @ Jan 25 2005, 03:51 PM) I think they expanded too quickly. Their stock hasn't been doing so great lately. I'll bet they are "cooking the books" along with the dough. The "Low carb" diet fad hasn't helped them much either.
